If I could correct you, I'd say best "micro economical" game. Although this game has some silly bugs that are ruining it and developers are denying this instead of releasing a fix. I'd advice postponing any serious playing of this game until update 3 is released. The game has no ending date specifically, so why is the new mod required? I know it is called Cold War, but that ended, even when it happened.
If you want a political sim angle to the game, play a nation not interested in the Cold War, when playing the game.
