The Netherlands is a democracy right? I think if the coup fails, I can just worry about keeping them neutral until the next election.

Went and checked the coup thing. The exact line is: COUP_CHANCE_PER_POSITION = 0.1. After thinking about it a little longer I think it means CABINET POSITION. Thus, for every cabinet position your party qualifies for, you get a .1 (or 10%) of pulling off a successfull coup. Three positions would equal .3 (or 30%), etc. I would like to point out that coups seem much harder in 3.06b vs. 3.06a, so what version you are playing will most likely make a difference.

Have already learned a number of things, particularly paying closer attention in the Tech Tab.
 
Per cabinet position makes 100% sense to me. And it ties nicely into the fractured government stuff PA did. FTM is finally making some logical sense.

Amoral, since it's may that means one run of AB's finished. Did you start a second run of 5? Can you show a shot of the production queue after the next run finishes in June and also mention if you build a 3rd run?

BTW kudos for the screen shots. Nice work.
 
Even if you didn't accomplish your goal (which I think you will), the knowledge you are passing along is great. Your graphical presentation of it makes this all the more effective. Keep it coming!

Interesting enough I've never seen any ruling that says swastikas are forbidden on the forums in this context (historial pictures etc). The relevant post seems to be:

So yes, no swastikas in the game - provided by Paradox or a mod. But in a (historic) AAR there seems to be no ban. All this is of course moot if an admin or mod says otherwise... :p
 
Amoral is already pushing HOI3 game mechanics to the limit, no reason to push forum rules to the limit as well.
 
Couple of questions. Do you already have Italy in the Axis in 1936? If so how was this done? How did you increase threat since Yougoslave threat is no where big enough to do it in 1936.

Also, what did you build on September 7/8, 1936 when the 3rd wave of airbases finished? Finally exactly how many LC's did you buy? I know the IC comes online as its repaired so the LC count can be how many you have in production with IC allocated by 12/31/36.
 
I do have Italy in the Axis. I didn't take any particular steps. But this seems pretty common in 3.06.
I did 4 rounds of 5 airfields, the last ones finished November 28th (basically the same time as the IC)
As soon as the IC finished in november I started three escort carriers and 3 light cruisers. I also finished the Graf Spee to boost my cruiser practical a little.
I also have minimal training turned on.
