How to change government from a theocracy??

I know this may have been answered somewhere else but i couldn't find it. How do you change your government from a Theocracy to say feudal monarchy? Or is it even possible?

Also, if you are playing as the Teutonic Order, you can use the "Reform into Prussia" decision, which changes you to Feudal Monarchy at no cost to stability.

Afak, in general it is possible to change to a form of government, that is greyed out in the list, if you switch back to a less advanced government. But I have never done this.

As people have pointed out, the only road forward for theocracies is Absolute monarchy at GovTech 27. Then you can work yourself back to Feudal Monarchy, but by then there is hardly any point to it. ahh ok thanks well that will take a while. So what provinces do i have to have to get the reform prussia event?
Cause im tired of being a Theocracy... and having no chance of becoming holy roman emperor.

What version of the game do you have? Should show in the lower-left corner of the main menu.
The requirements and process for changing depend on what version you have.

In that case it's a decision you enact (not an event) and all the requirements will be listed in the tooltip for the decision.

well only have a few more years till 1500. Hopefully I can hold Bohemia off long enough to form Prussia.
