Hello guys, I have a big problem I have to prevent.
The Son of the HRE is gonna marry the heir (daughter) of the ERE.
If that happen the balance of power is broken and disturbed.
Kaiser Simon from the HRE hates me because my character has
usurped the Title of Luxemburg 100 Times before I could control
him. His Son hates me too because I've stolen a titel from him he had
before his family came to power.

Now, if he marries the daughter of the ERE, he has more Power then I
and is gonna run over me. I have an alliance with his father, the current
Kaiser (married his daughter, when I was 58) But he hates me with
-100... Like his son does.. any Idea how I could prevent this?
I control the (Later, with SoI) Empire of Britannia and a big part of Iberia.
Also a Norway is mine. The Normandy and the Bretagne is also mine.
My son rules the Duchy of Braunswick... He is in the middle of the storm soon.

I can't call any allies because I have only some earls and the kaiser.
France hates me also because I hold a lot of his land... This is gonna be hard... :(

hmm, sounds like I have not such an big problem :D
If the Mega-Empire breaks, I will have the chance to get some big parts of the cake...
But, to be sure, I'll try to assassinide the son AND ally with the Seljuks because they are
at the right of the ERE. Thank you, thats a solution for both cases.
 
I think most marriages require that both parties to it be alive. Barring a real decline in moral standards, you can prevent the marriage and thus solve the problem by killing either or both of the principals. Either a standard assassination, or use a plot (go to the character screen of the target, click on the knife/stabbing intrigue button on the left side of the portrait). With both targets in large courts there should be a whole host of plot backers, and of those, some will co-operate.

Problem solved.
