Compatible with 5.1, I'm not sure about 5.2. If someone who has 5.2 could tell me if it works, then that would be great.




What this mod entails:
All of the United States and Canada, as well as some formable nations. These nations include:
-Deseret
-Cascadia
-New England
-And More

A new tech group, just for the states.

Updated base tax, and manpower for each state province.

New cultures for different regions.

4 new religions, just for the states.

Many new missions to help you expand.


Eventually, I hope to add in the Caribbean,Central America and even more nations.

Death & Taxes recently updated with a redrawn map of North America that better reflects state divisions. You might want to check that out as a possible base for your project.

That said, good effort.

Good progress for just 2 days. I think it would be better if you could have the states as they were in that time period (like the old Virginia etc.), but that's your decision. But about all 50 states, wouldn't that be hard with wasteland covering many of the states/regions of the states? Good luck then, and I see how the provinces look rather crude in regards to each individual state (but you mentioned that mod, so)

Yes, I may mess around with the provinces a little bit, but we'll see.

Also, I don't really like D&T too much, so I probably wouldn't use that.

Or it could go the other way round. So if there was a massive rebellion in the USA, then it could break down. And then the states will have to reunite the USA (or not!)

I might make a new tech/culture for them too, but that'll take a while, so we'll see.

Haha, again, this is a wonderful initiative, and I'll definitely play when you finish, but Paradox's terrible North American borders make it look like a third grader is drawing the United States.

Do you plan on adding the Canadian provinces and territories as well? Mexico's provinces I would like too, but that might be a stretch due to the map.

Oh, and one more thing: Were you inspired at all to make this because the provinces are arranged similarly to modern state borders? Or was that too obvious?

I'm pretty sure you could just take the state borders and nothing else. That sounds hard though...

Thanks, guys. I added in all the states East of the wastelands for now. Next update, I'll probably just add in all the states that aren't in the wastes, like Arizona, Oregon, etc.

Maybe later on, like, after I'm all done with the U.S. I'll add in Mexico and Canada maybe. Mexico might be challenging, considering that I think their provinces couldn't really fit into the eu3 provinces.

Yeah, I just don't like D&T for some reason. Oh well, I'll think of something.

As far as not liking Death and Taxes, I'm pretty sure the map Death and Taxes uses is Devlet-i Ali Osman, so you could probably just use that, since I'm pretty sure they have a map only download. Or maybe D&T diverged away from Devlet-i Ali Osman in the map of America but they are associated with them so it's worth a shot.

D&T uses DaO for Europe and the middle east, but it has a lot of alterations and is completely different outside of Europe/Middle-East.
