If it is mechanically possible to do - it's legal. However, if it is contrary to the Devs intentions we will change the mechanics.

The only philosophy worth having. Banning people left and right accomplishes very little when registration is entirely open, and rolling back the entire server to undo some 'sploiting is obviously not an option unless the 'sploiting has somehow compromised the integrity of an entire game mechanic.

The idea is that the game should be built in such a way that it does not require policing.

Thats a nice intent, but in practice its a wish that doesn't come true...
Games, any game at all, will always require human policing, because players are humans also who by mere nature always tend to find holes in the walls coded into a game, by human developers

that is why Brother Bean is often hanging around both in the forums and in IRC, and with TotalyMoo joining in as GM, it should be even easier to get them when we need them.
