Please let me hijack this thread for a minute to clarify something:

I dunno, it just seems weird for a fellow developer of Paradox published titles to publicly hope for the worst over and over again. That'd be like Ubik hounding the Darkest Hour forums saying that the 1.3 patch is late and never coming out.

Also, I am not a developer, or else I'd be listed as "Darkest Hour Lead Developer". None of my DH endeavors would be considered dev work.

T.j. Arnold is not a Darkest Hour Developer nor a DH Beta Tester. As far as I know, he has never been involved in DH in any way (development, testing, promotion, whatever). He is simply a player and a modder, I guess a bit enthusiastic, but this doesn't preclude him from posting his opinion.
However, his opinion has nothing to do with the opinion of the DH developers or DH Team in general and should not be considered as such.

Well, technically I was a beta tester for 1.2. But yes, I have no idea how any of you guys assumed I was a part of the core DH team, I don't even have the logo as my avatar.

If "Lead Propaganda" is an actual job, tell me where to sign up. Sorry if these folks got confused, AC.

None of my comments reflect the nature of the DH team and should be treated as the antics of a semi-crazed yet rather dashing modder.

Anyway, I do also agree that it is a good sign that the website is back up, perhaps negotiations are going well.

Oh come on! These guys (the devs) worked their a**es off for years and for free doing MMtM and enhancing EUIII, you can't just cancel the game like that even if it's buggy and like Ubik said, they were here for five years ( again for free) and will stay at least five more years to support the game. If Paradox cancels the game it will be a very bad sign to the modders community a.k.a their hardcore fanbase.
