I now hate the 28th
Well... my game keeps crashing on the 28th, the funny thing is it is solely that day. I actually opened up my save, changed the day to the 29th and was able to keep playing, well, until January anyway. I'm faily certain there's no event trying to fire, as I've removed all the events from the game's folder (which didn't cause a CTD, well until the 28th). There's never anything in the logs, usually just some random AI diplo transaction. SO... anyone have an idea why Vicy hates the 28th?

You probably have some corrupted files elsewhere. Why not just reinstall the game? This doesn't ever happen with a clean install.
Update your game and check your checksum. If it's incorrect, reinstall the game. If it's correct, post your savegame to the bug section of the forum so devs can fix that crash.

It's possible that someone is firing a decision which in turn fires and event which does not exist. Have you modified the game in some way?
