Hey, has anyone given thought to making a Game of Thrones mod, with the great houses standing in for the current factions? Maybe make some notable characters playable? Possibly even have some wights spawning north of the wall? The source material is so great for M&B gameplay and has been having such a spike in popularity recently that I'm surprised I haven't been able to find anything like this in development.
 
I was just thinking the Exact same thing. Perhaps even dating back to the time of robert's rebellion against the mad king!:)

Sadly, The only GoT mod I found was for CK II.
 
Actually such a mod does exist and it is called A Clash of Kings and the world and factions are based on the time of the book the mod is named after.
I personally found it too hard and didn't appreciate some of the UI changes but you might find it enjoyable.
The mod is still in beta and a lot of planned features are still missing.
Edit: link doesn't work anymore, the mod might be at the mount and blade nexus or it might not be, go see for yourself.
