I was wondering what wold be the difference in the game bu using the 5.1 patch and the 5.2 beta patch?
Pretty much anything hardcoded: The new Naval mechanics, the 200% trade and production efficiency caps, the ability ot make coalition armies.
If it's just file changes that can be modded by anyone and everyone it won't have much if any impact on Meiou since all those kinds of files will be overruled by the meiou mod files.

Identical ? what would be the point of a release of a DW 5.2b patch if it's the same as the previous DW v5.1 patch ?

Although your question is not that foolish ; given lack of time, i haven't had time to test and be able to list the exact differences between the two...
