    Advanced Trade Goods

    Could someone tell me how to change trade goods into advanced trade goods? Like how to have beer, fabric(clothing), etc. It's 1600ish in my game and I see others having them but I can't seem to figure out how to upgrade mine. I built a Textile Mill in a wool province and nothing changed.

    I received a pop-up telling me I can now make better trade goods but not how to do it and I can't find anything on the web that explains it.

    Thanks!

    P.S. I loaded a save game as Brabant(they have beer & fabric producing provinces) and they haven't built any factories or buildings that explain how they did it.

    Benelux starts with beer and fabric tradegoods (historical fact).

    A feature has been implemented to have the tradegoods evolve. Strange that you didn't get any event.

    a note about evolving tradegoods: There should probably be a flag that makes it unlikely or impossible for them to change if they have already changed before. In my Russia game, several of my west African colonial provinces have switched back and forth between slaves and palm oil multiple times

    Changed it so only one advanced tradegoods event can fire per province. If necessary, we'll see for tweaks later.
