I opened up a savegame and got an error on line 479442, I opened it with a text editor and found this

What's wrong here?

Not 100%, but probably the fact that after name = the content within the quotation marks isn't actually in the quotation marks. The first " opens, the second " closes, so all three bits of text are outside any quotes.

Yes, this is the correct form. Use ' inside the ".
