FTM 3.05 Playing as Germany

My convoys are constantly getting bashed by the USA in the later years (1944-1945)
and the AI "Escorts" seem totally useless as far as I am concerned.
Can you give me an idea what kind of fleet composition you guys use
so I can provide my own escorts? Thanks
 
Escorts are utterly useless IMHO.
Check where your convoys get sunk and send your CTF patrolling there to eliminate the raiders.
