That's right. The horse's body looks huge compared to the head.
Wait until you compare Napoleon's left and right legs, your life will never be the same.

It's a little known fact that the POOREST countries in the world were the ones who created the greatest painting master-pieces. That is because richer countries could afford to weave tapestries or run jousting tournaments instead, and found paintings to be inferior in comparison.

The colonization of North America wasn't dominated by navel powers such as England, but by Portugal, who rose to be the most expansive colonial empire to ever exist. That is due to their superior geography getting them early access to the Azores, which meant they could colonize the new world decades before anyone else.

Despite common sense, African and native American tribes could settle no new territory until the arrival of the Europeans. The one sole exception was the Incan Empire, due to their possession of a coastal trade centre.

The limiting factor in how much infrastructure a country can build is not MONEY, as that's easy to get. Government officials are by far the more valuable commodity! It it a common occurrence to see a wealthy country who cannot use its money on anything because they do not have enough magistrates to mix into the cement foundation for the buildings.

The most technologically advanced country in the ancient world was in fact the nation of Aachen, a tiny member state of the Holy Roman Empire. They existed for several hundred years during which they did absolutely nothing of value, before being annexed by the Austrian Empire.

:D lol this is good

Modern biologists agree that the several instances of, for example, a settlement of 1,000 spawning 5,000 rebels means humans can - with sufficient anger-induced stimulus - reproduce through clonal fragmentation.

A person's smarts and tactical skill is directly proportional to his tendency to die early.

Hunting accidents were the main cause of death among young nobles in the early modern era.

When hordes, destroyed a settlement of other nation on their ground, they became greatly infamous, but when they siezed territory of another country, this did not gave them any bad name, even more, was seen as legitimate act, that broght them prestige, and make their people less weary of the war.

When a country colonized hordes lands, it did not make them seen more infamous.

When a country sent a colonist, then they peaced out with the horde they sent a colonist on, when the colonist arrives there, they were not expulsed, unless the horde destroyed the settlement.

The number of rebels that riot thru the realm is not dependant on the province population, but on the taxes they bring, so if luxembourg would revolt now, it would bring milion men army of rebels.

the Iberian state of Aragon would be able to resist Castille for over 150 years despite holding only it's capital and the Balearic Islands. These islands were turned into a virtual fortress and would witness the deaths of over 40,000
Castillians.

The 31st of August 1645 is regarded as Independence Day for the vast United States of Sweedish America (USSA) which stretches from the great lakes down to the souther coast of Florida, punctuated only by a few smaller German and Italian speaking semi-autonomous provinces

The one thing soldiers feared those days wasn't a march through a dessert, a war against France, the terrible food or going to battle against highly advanced ubersoldiers from Ulm. No. It was sitting around a campfire with your army buddies, praying together to whatever god(s) until the clock hit midnight before every new month.

Suppose he likes vacation next to baltic sea. I don't say i blame him, while it is far north, being by sea, it makes it ussualy pretty good tempertature(my perfect temperature is about 15C* if there is sun, aspecialy if there is little breeze - don't like when it is too hot - i am rather cold-liker)

This thread is genial. Though a lot of the good ideas have already been used...

Despite thriving for nearly 1400 years, the Christian kingdom of Ethiopia mysteriously vanished around 1400, replaced by a Muslim nation called Adal.

The Mayans, Aztec, and other central Americans were capable of telepathy, and seemingly knew exactly when a fellow Animist nation in distant Africa had gone to war with a nation following another religion, even if they previously had no former knowledge of either nation to begin with.

Feudal Japan was once surrounded by an ancient force field that kept foreigners from landing on the islands, even if they were among the strongest nations in the world.
