Issue regestering game bought from Steam

Bought Mount & Blade Warband, having some new issues with it after fine play for months. But I bought it from steam, not a retailer, so I dont think it came with a Key?

It's a known problem and as it stands now it will not be solved. The forums are open to everyone because of this. If you want icons you have to buy through GamersGate. Their codes work.

Basically, M&B series games bought through Steam will, for some reason, not register on these forums. Because of this - Paradox left the M&B series forum open for anyone to view and post.

Really?!?! I dont have warband on Steam, but I have many other Pdx games on steam, and I can tell you that all of the ones ive registered using codes in steam, work.

What you may have to do is check by:
- Rightclick on the Warband in your list of games.
- Look for the menu option VIEW CD KEY.

If its there use this to register your game. If you dont have this option, I suggest contacting Pdx support directly @ http://paradox.zendesk.com

Then ask them if they can supply you with a game code. If they cant, then you're out of luck. Though not out of options. Try waiting for a sale and see if you can pick up a copy for a few $, £ or euros. GG usually has warband on sale quite a bit.

If you need the code to access the sub-forums, explain that to them. It may help.

2Coats I don't know why you bothered posting that - you responded to something I never said. I did not say that all Steam games do not register on the Plaza, just the M&B series, it has been said multiple times. He doesn't need the code to access the forum either, as stated. And zendesk will say the same to him - nothing can be done.

Just to be clear. It was not aimed specifically at you. And my advice was aimed at the OP. Apologizes for any misunderstanding.
Im surprised that Warband keys havent been given out for Steam purchases.
