I guess iam the next one who is amazed about the really early patch on steam.

Awesome. :D

working ok for everyone? its always nice to have confirmation :)

Usual question - will it break latest beta savegames? Doesn´t seems likely, but want to be certain.

have KXUC and already tried verifying my steam cache...

edit: now it's OXEX...

edit2: yay OWZA and it only took me a single reinstallation \o/ PI improving on all fronts

It's nice that the steam update came through so quickly and once the patch was applied automatically by steam it played perfect. However, I did a complete reinstall of the game and now the game consistently crashes on 'initializing map logic'. When I alt tab I get to view the error message that can be seen in the image below. I've tried reinstalling again, clearing the victoria folder in my documents, deleting all traces of victoria in the steamapps folder and uninstalling/reinstalling visual c++ but the same issue remains. I've tried multiple reinstalls. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Perhaps it's worth noting that I've been using the beta patch with no problems at all. Also, the steam update to 2.31 worked fine at first before I did a complete reinstall.

does your error.log file (check documents/paradox interactive/victoria II/logs) say anything about missing files? or some more details at the end? open a thread in tech support and attach the log if you can

does your error.log file (check documents/paradox interactive/victoria II/logs) say anything about missing files? or some more details at the end? open a thread in tech support and attach the log if you can

The error log is completely empty as are most of the others. There's only three logs where there's actually something written to. Ill start a thread in tech support like you said with these logs attached.

I keep getting OXEX on Steam. I verified my files twice. Do I have to reinstall? Any others on Steam get OXEX?
