    I read this at 1:30, had it downloaded by about 1:45, and shot a quick game before I had to head to work for a few hours. Greatly appreciate the heads up, and I don't know, for me, it was a whole lot Civ V like in a Fantasy World (which ain't a bad thing!).

    Why on earth would one need Steam for a demo? Other Paradox demos are available from various outlets, what's the problem here?

    No problem. I was replying to the OP. So far as far as Im aware the demo has only been released on Steam.

    Which other Pdx demos are you referring to?

    Well CK 2 was the most recent I downloaded, from FileShack IIRC.

    I see. I guess so far the demo for this game is only available through STEAM, though I guess there is no harm in asking Paradox for alternatives. The thing you should bear in mind though is that the game is Steam only. So eventually you will have to use steam to play it.
