Paradox Interactive CEO to Host Upcoming Live Stream



STOCKHOLM — April 25th, 2012 — Not content with weaving his magic in the offices of Paradox Interactive, CEO Fredrik Wester will be hosting a live streaming demo of the upcoming empire building strategy game from Ino-Co, Warlock: Master of the Arcane. Being CEO is admittedly hard work, but someone has to get the job done!

Warlock: Master of the Arcane is a turn based strategy game set in the fantasy world of Ardania, a planet divided between archmages and grand wizards – each convinced that they alone have the power to unite the world under the protection of their mighty spells. Players will build cities, research spells of creation, destruction and blessing and build armies to enforce their will on their neighbors.

Yes, last night was very interesting thank you. I've never seen anything like that before, the CEO of a company taking time out of his evening to show us their latest game and allow us to question you and the devs. Google suggests you do it often with your games and you should definitely keep on doing it!

It's also reassuring that you have such confidence in your products to show them off to us and even allow us a playable demo before release. In an age where most PC companies don't even offer demo's full stop.

I already wanted the game the moment it popped up on Steam news for pre-order (I didn't know it existed prior to that!), and had ordered it from gamersgate after watching TotalBiscuits WTF is video so I'm afraid none of it affected my purchase but it sure reassured me I'd done the right thing in buying it! And hopefully it's helped persuade others to get it.
