Hello and welcome to my first official Mod release.

Latest standalone version for CK2 v2.8.3 16th june 2018

Find the latest beta on Github ;)

What is it ?

I've tried to increase historicity and immersion of the game through graphical stuff : coats of arms, interface, events pictures.
I interface module also aims to bring more logic, more consistency, being cleaner, aswell as including some quality of life elements.

Content :

-new sets of dynastic coats of arms (CoA)
-new or reworked Coa for Titles - more historical or just better versions
-a brand new set of patterns for almost all religions
-new interface and graphic for various stuff (character screen, laws screen, outliner, province view, siege view, tradepost view etc. )
-a new event type/layout
-a whole set of new event pictures
-extends the cultural naming of dynasties from vanilla

Warning please read ! Some of the new interface elements are bigger than vanilla. Avoid using ARKOpack Interface on laptops or small screens.
Your resolution needs to be at least of 813pixels high.

Future :
More stuff !

Credits :
-Aasmul for a bunch of dynastic CoA + contributions for pagans CoA (ressources and drawing)
-Galvakojis for a bunch of dynastic CoA
-Frostschaden for his Illumination mod

!!! known issues !!!
-bad combination colours, more likely to happen for muslims. vanilla issue.

Compatibility :

Armoiries module
-works with ruler designer DLC
-with any mod that doesn't affect those files : coats_of_arms.txt ; dynasties.txt, stuff for random coa
-don't use with a previously saved game
-integration granted to the mod Witcher Kings, Stigmata.
-compatible with SWMH, including exclusive stuff it
-part of HIP project

Interface module
-compatible with any mod that doesn't change interface files.
-IRONMAN Mod friendly
-part of HIP project
Please note that no integration authorization will be granted for this module.

It will be OK to propose my mod as a modular aside. PI made a nice modular system for modder, I'm using it.
AUTORISATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE ANY INTEGRATION, THANKS. CREDITS REQUIRED OF COURSE.
Modders, respecting other modders' work is the base of modding community.

Installation :
-Delete any previous installation
-Like any other mod, unzip in your mod folder
-use only on a fresh game (CoApack only, you can load/unload the Interface module anytime)

I have the honor to be the first to congratulate you! I have relied on French coats of arms from Wikipedia for my mod, so it is good to see more proper ones.

EDIT: Okay, second honor :)

thanks for encouragements.

Please feedback any problem/errors. Any suggestion is welcome for further improvements.

Hey Arko, may I integrate your mod into mine? Credit will be given of course :)

Sorry but I'm not favorable to integration into big modpacks.

This mod is made to be easily compatible with most mods, so, there is no need of integration unless real necessity, if the mod covers the same scope or is complementary.

my main focus is the French region/western Europe as it is what I know better, but if you have specific demands, just ask. The dynastie ID and a Coa model will be welcome, though.

Thats the 2 Scandinavian COA Im missing the most(being Danish;))

Im a bit puzzeld, how does dynastie COA creation work in CK2? I have understood that it dosn't work the same way as makeing a flag for a county or the like. I would like to help, make some if Im able.

-thanks I will try them.

-on modding, the coa are compiled into a tab (take a look to AFPdynasties.tga in my mod folder), each coa is corresponding to a number determined from its postion in the pattern. the number is reported into the dynasties file. The drawing of coa is the exact same way as normal coa.

should be 1.05d compatible without update.
I will wait a bit before updating. If you find somme oddities due to 1.05d, please report.

update to 1.05d. retro-compatibility 1.04.

20 new patterns for random coas.

Image shows a few of the new patterns.

Will you at some point extend this beautiful work to the whole Christendom?

I will add some more in the future, with priority on western Europe. So, it will grow upon time.
