Hi, I'm new here, have been playing the game for a few months now. It has some issues but I really like it.

There's one thing I can't figure out how to do: how do you sell items to other nations?

I'm conquering enemy colonies and therefore finding myself with huge surpluses of several items, so much I can't sell them to my homeport because it fills up very quickly.

Every now and then I get the advisor message "diplomacy offer: Nation X offers us YYY resource. They ask for ZZZ money".

I go to the diplomacy screen and start talks with all the nations. I see I can offer them goods stored in my homeport, but I can't find a way to ask them for money in return. How do you do that?
