It happens since the patch. I am currently playing C01M09 and I can not zoom on the map anymore. I am going to make a few restarts and a few attempts to zoom on other missions and give feedback.
By the way the mouse works perfectly fine when used in other tasks that require the roller, like browsing through options, messages, etc.
