


I agree with Duckett, the map looks amazing in every single aspect but two: the water and the borders. The water would look better in the old EUIII style, and borders are too thick and defined. Also intranational borders should be a lot thinner and lightly colored than international borders.

Well, this is a hard wish to fulfill. Playing whit which country for instance? And what kind of game? Warmongering or diplomatic? And what if it was a rather unusual game where France, the HRE and Austria are all dissolved?

As a fun sidenote, I still possess an American university level (!) college book which had a schematic map of textile production in the 17th century.
It showed the production of, for example, Flevoland was quite high![]()
