Installation instructions:

1) Go and buy a copy of AHD.
2) install it over your copy of V2.
3) Patch it to 2.21 using the 2.21 public beta patch from 25/2/12.
4) Download APD 2.0.7. Obviously.
5) If you have APD 2.0.6 installed in the Victoria 2\mod folder, DELETE IT first.
6) Extract the zip to the Victoria 2\Mod folder.
7) Launch the launcher, select 'A POP Divided' from the bottom-left menu, and press 'play'.

Very minor thing but I noticed the "Claim Santa Catharina" decision for Rio Grande do Sul gives cores on provinces RGS already has cores on. Something should probably be done about that.

I am number 1 in the world due to my grandiose industry (1200 points). I have conquered half of the pacific and my treasury is well beyond 100.000.000 gold (+30k/day).
Despite all that grandeur, fascist events keep popping up. Currently 14% of my population is facist which doesn't make any sense at all. No revanchism, no problems. Why do facism and socialism have to be automatisms? If everything's nice and dandy, people shouldn't strive for extremism.
Another problem: I can't get a liberal party into power despite NF'ing every populous region (for decades) in my empire and picking every party-corresponding event. That might be a vanilla issue though.

Besides those issues, mod works great at this stage.

For that it may simply be the pop ideology factors... of which there's several that could push a pop towards fascism, depending on what issues are most important to them.

I just checked Rio Grande,and there's a Stables factory in the country.Funny thing is , they are the only horse producer in whole planet,yet half of those horses seem to be 'doesnt get sold'.
Cant understand the economic dynamics of this game.

There's a limited amount of triggers for the Fascist events:

* Supremacy NV
* Might NV
* any national core not owned (and not empty)
* has lost a war in the last 5 years
* is disarmed
* unemployment over 30%
* any neighbor country is fascist

That's it. The only other events that don't require that require fascism to already exist in a given province-- at least 10% or higher, depending on the event. So I'd need to see which Fascist events you're getting, and I can take a look at the given event and perhaps up the % requirement... but if none of those conditions apply I think I could safely say that you're getting Fascist events because there's a portion of your population which was already fascist.

I'm not sure what you tried, but the only crash I got was when I tried to use a country modifier. Not suggesting we use this, just pointing it out.

Played a quick game up until 1850 to see how the Liberal Revolutions went. Some observations:

* The USA is seriously messed up. In my game it declared war on Mexico to acquire Nevada-Utah-- which, fine, it probably generated the CB. It failed, of course... but then it started to do really badly. Mexico declared war on it to liberate the CSA in Louisiana. It failed as well, but the USA hasn't tried to regain any of its territories yet and has fallen to #7 on the GP rankings. What's more, it's been putting influence in some really strange places: Gonder and Hyderabad, for instance. I haven't seen it do THAT since I was trying to mod the AI and noticed doing so simply cleared its normal priorities completely.

* Still revolutions across Europe. Prussia was swamped, and most of the German and Italian minors had pan-nationalist rebellions. Even with the liberal agitation militancy lowered, I think I'll have to go in and lower the militancy events... or remove some entirely. There's simply no way for these countries to reduce their militancy any longer. So whenever they get any militancy, it simply builds up into a rebellion. I'll play with it and see if I can't balance it a bit, but I'm not sure removing the militancy factor from the ideology files is such a hot idea. The system's just not built to handle it, I think. I can only imagine what's going to happen when the Socialist and Fascist events start to kick in.

So I'll take a look at the USA and see if I can figure out what's up-- and then take a look at the Liberal Revolutions. But I'm not confident about those. I'll see what I can do.

EDIT: Tag-switched over to USA to take a look, and can't see anything obviously wrong. Quite a few closed factories (DC has 6 of 7 closed), but it has a LF party in power and the remaining factories are all in the green. Big problem is the military-- even though it's gained 1.4 million POPs in 12 years, it has 11 recruitable brigades vs. the 14 it starts the game with. Lots of provinces with 300-400 soldiers.

I notice you took out the "recruitment drive" sections from the promotion/demotion tables... is that intentional? If so, then we should probably remove the events that apply them, as well. It's intended to help the AI restore soldier population when it gets low. No point in the events being there if they don't actually do anything.

I'm pretty sure that the movement-based system can be made to work. There's enough factors for it in defines.lua that it can be made effective, I just need to balance it right; I can even increase the power of movements or change the % support an issue needs to form one pretty easily. I suspect what it really needs is some issue table work in the POP files themselves, tho - including a boost to Aristo liberalness for example.

I think we also need to sort out the soldier-to-State-Capitals thing. I've been meaning to do it for about a year now, but every time someone will volunteer, realise it's tougher than they thought, and disappear.

So far in my USCA game the economy has seemed stable up to 1850, but as mentioned there have been a lot of rebel problems in Europe. Both France and Prussia have broken to Jacobins so far and some German minors have had pan-nationalists. USA is doing okay for the moment, but they failed to defend Texas or take anything in the war they declared on Mexico instead.

One minor thing for the USCA: I was able to easily get out of the initial civil war situation by going back to ruling party only for the UH once 1837 hit and the reactionaries got more than 50% of the UH. This cleared up the militancy and rebel groups and because the Liberal party was in power the UH went straight back to appointed. Maybe reducing the number of reactionaries so they can't immediately get a majority would make it harder to game your way out of the situation.

I've noticed that in 2.0.7 (and in 2.0.6) France and Ottomans are colonising the north Japanese island and Seattle (in the USA) respectively at the begining of the game. This is clearly not realistic.

Other than that v. 2.0.7 seems to be very solid so far for me.
