The Solution to all the worlds problems is utterly simple. We should set up all government so they run like an Episode of Yes Minster. At least that way the politicians will be so busy fighting the government that they will not have time to invade other countries. Equally it will mean that countries will be well run the half of the time which is about an improvement equal to half the time in the amount of time a country is well run. What could ever go wrong.
OOC: (Despite me not having a character.) May I join in as the United States of America? Albeit I'll pretty much doing nothing for the first few years but it might get interesting later on.

The German Empire will not retract its declaration of war on Belgium. France has chosen to stand with the vile Serbs, and so will be crushed beneath the boots of the Empire's armies. The Kaiser instead asks the British government to throw out the Treaty of London for what it is, a scrap of paper. It holds no meaning to either of our nations. We need not go to war, enough blood will be shed without the involvment of Britain that anymore will be greatly regretted by both sides.
