    Irish Kingship and claims

In my Connacht campaign i manged to gain the title of King of Ireland. I assumed this would give be de jure claims over the left over kingdoms manly the ulster counties yet it did not is this a bug or am i misunderstanding exactly what the tile entitles me to? They are part of Ireland and i am the irish King i thought this effectually makes me the rightful liege.

I think with the fact that you only need 50% of a kingdom to be declared king it would make claims on the rest of the kingdom kind of OP. However, if they were to increase it to, say, 70% or so of the kingdom, I'd be all in favor of adding claims to the rest of the kingdom.

It's not a bug. Being king doesn't provide you with CB versus dukes and counts in you De Jure kingdom.

However, because you are their De Jure liege, the Irish dukes and vassals are a lot more likely to accept an offer of vassalation.
Just try it, if your power is high enough, most of them should accept. If not, sometimes sending a gift and increasing their opinion of you, makes them give in.

I thought this odd myself. However, you can grab their land by backing the claims of any would be dukes that are within your de jure realm. So this solution leads to the same effect.
