General Rules:

1. Players that fail to show will have their countries protected for the duration of one session. Any damage caused by AI player countries will be subject to edits. 2. It is a player’s duty to find a sub to fill in for his absence; the GM holds no responsibility to this. 3. Disrespectful treatment of other players is forbidden. Any disputes about in game situations are to be resolved by the GM. Continual harassment of a player will lead to removal from the game. 4. Wrecking your own nation just because you lost is forbidden. You may not release every possible vassal or refuse to peace and go to ridiculous lengths to annoy your enemy out of spite. 5. No sale of provinces to nations who can't see said provinces and can't see the seller's capital. 6. Players may not sell manufacturies or missionaries. 7. Bargains between players will NOT be enforced. If a player does not hold his side of a bargain he made, the sanction is to have other players know it and act in consequence. 8. A form of communication that runs outside of EU3 is required: Mumble or MSN.

War and Peace:

1. No player may be forced to accept a peace deal above 100% warscore during a single war. 2. When one nation at war with another asks for peace terms, the other must provide them as quickly as possible. This does not constitute a surrender. 3. When a nation surrenders, the winning side in the conflict must cease chasing armies and cancel sieges immediately so peace can be settled. A nation who has surrendered is expressly forbidden from continuing the conflict in any further manner. 4. Players cannot sign a peace with another player nation and use the truce to attack and/or annex vassals or lesser partners. 3. No selling of provinces under any circumstances as a function of a peace deal. 4. Going to war with another player for shits and giggles is NOT allowed. The nature of enforcing this rule is subjective. 5. Nations are forbidden to go to war simply to farm crusade bonuses, war taxes and army tradition. 6. Players may not force other players to give up provinces, cores, release vassals, release nations, etc through an AI warleader.

Hey guys, noticed there's no Thursday evening game at the moment and decided to make one. To be frank only seasoned players will be receiving major powers (though newer players are certainly welcome to join the game!), and country allocations will be considered with the balance of power and general game integrity in mind. The ideal outcome will be a game that lasts and is full of intrigue and warfare that, while hopefully retaining a certain element of Machiavellian ruthlessness, remains fair and fun for all involved.

A modicum of roleplaying is also encouraged - that is, assuming the role of your nation's king/leader and acting accordingly. Allying with out-of-game friends when it makes no strategical sense, is a good example of what not to do. Bribing the Curia Controller as Venice to call a crusade on the Ottomans in order to secure Mediterranean hegemony by appealing to religious duty, especially if the Ottomans are your out-of-game friend, is a good example of roleplaying. You can see the general gist by now I think!

We will begin our campaign with 17 players. An MSN group has been created, all players in this campaign are required to join it and be present in lobby 5 mins before game start. Thanks!

The nations listed are merely grouped along geographical/sphere of competition divisions, and of course do not represent the ONLY nations that can be played - merely the most likely. Even so, I did miss Denmark and Sweden and they've been added.

And, just so its made clear - the ideal situation would be about 15-20 players, concentrated in Europe, with Asian nations being given out only if numbers are excessive. European and Muslim nations are the priorities, in that order.
