    Responsible for courtiers marriages?

Am I responsible for arranging marriages for my courtiers, or can they manage it on their own?
I'm just wondering if I'm expected to do/not do something when for example my Marshal wishes to get married?

In my experience, I think you have to arrange the marriages yourself. I don't remember any courtiers marrying on their own.

That seems like micro management I'd rather be without.

Would there be any downsides from not caring about your courtiers marriages at all?

No, you can marry them but you don't have to.
