Everyone always wants to kill you, even people who likes you alot. All your relatives always wants to kill you, no matter if they hate you or love you. All your neighbors always want to kill you, no matter if you married their daughter or not. In short: everyone always want to kill you.

Everyone wants to you to die, but some of them can't find the time to do the deed themselves.
If anyone wants to use any events, decisions, etc that I post here in their mod, then feel free. All I ask is that you massage my ego by saying what you are doing with it in a reply to the thread you find it on.

    * The Welsh never used longbows, only the Saxons and English did.
    * That the Pope isn't always Catholic.
    * That Pagans are overrated.
    * That the War of the Roses occurred in 1069 because Harold Godwinson had too many Ducal titles.

The only quality that matters in a wife is how well she can help manage your lands.

The only quality that matters in an heir is how well he/she can manage your lands.

Nobles will refuse to lower taxes because they are angry about high taxes.

Mediaeval Europe is a tolerant and heterogeneous society. Blanda Upp.

Betrothing your two year old daughter to a foreign noblemen, and then giving that same noble guardianship over her, has no awkward implications at all.

Marrying into your own family gives you prestige.

Byzantium is in every way identical to western europe, just with greek names for certain things.

    Hedge Knights always injure themselves.

Once you have defeated your enemies massive army make sure NOT to destroy it. Because if you do, another, possibly larger army will instantly appear.

Your alliance is never good enough.

Attrition is a modern concept and didn’t exist in the mediaeval world.

Your courtiers will refuse any gift valued less then 20G, even if it is more then they make in a year.

The most powerful military forces don’t own any territory.

Even in male dominated countries, women can still be tough warriors.

Your vassals won’t use their 2000 strong army to defend themselves from 500 peasants unless you order them too. If you order them too, they will complain.

44 year old women giving birth to twins is a common occurrence.

The entire mediaeval world agreed on a set hunting season from 1st to the 31st of October.

Vassals have the inalienable right to refuse to pay their lord taxes or provide him armies.

There's nothing wrong with killing your children as long as you don't get caught.

That Crusader Kings II is the "A Song of Ice and Fire" game, I was hoping for, only without dragons and in Europe.

A king holding more than two duke titles gets swarmed by all his vassals, even if he is the king of Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, England, Scotland and so on.

    Vassals are careless.
