Messages and Map Modes

The messaging system has all ready been reported in the bugs section but can somebody please explain to me the map modes. I can't tell what provinces I own. who MY vassals are, who I am at war with or who anybody else is, or quite frankly anything. Done my fanboy post earlier but would like these two things sorted out. Fan boy bit..... love what you've done, undoubtedly the best game yet, but please get this information stuff sorted. ps been playing for two days solid and decided to go out and have a few. Two days indoors. Quids in. Fantastic game xxxx

I hope there would be some changes because if you aren't a top level ruler, you can't see anything.

Diplomatic relations map mode.
When you click on one of your land :

Light green = Land your own
Dark green = Your vassals
Darker green = Vassals of your vassals
Blue = Your allies
Red = You at war with
Brown(Gold) = Truce
Yellow = You have a casus belli on it

You can see the diplomatic relations of other rulers by clicking on their land.
