The pope seems to apply double standards when it comes to holy wars...

Anjou Frankish empire - Emperor is king of Naples and Hungary, his vassals are kings of Poland, Sicily, Croatia and Wallachia.

HRE emperor is also king of England, which he conquered. Currently English lords are independent, thanks to successful independence war, started while HRE was in war against alliance of Frankish Empire, Kingdom of France and Kingdom of Lithuania

I like how Andalusia matches Portugal perfectly.

No screen shot for this since I uninstalled CKII -- again, but for some odd reason, after months of not playing this game, King Alfonzo VI of Leon now has... a beard???

He used to not have a beard. In fact, many of his neighboring rulers now have some type of facial hair.

Why?

I thought at first that this was a bug or somehow related to the Sword of Islam expansion so I unchecked that expansion in the game launcher but that affected no change.

Must I purchase the ruler configuration DLC to remove the disgusting facial hair?

It's normal. Beards grow over time (which is a relief for people who's heir has one of those ugly pencil-mustaches). Nobody looks exactly the same for 60 years after all ;)

Everone has seen a Muslim Pope, But how many have seen a Muslim Pope that is also a Caliph?

After my emperor fallen in a battle against the Ilkhanate 160 faithful commanders of his retinues decided to follow him to his grave :p

Celibate, lustful, Italian Catholic, married to a Muslim Baron, and wants to be Spymaster with 3 Intrigue rating. Oh, and hates her hubby with a passion...

heck isn't it like this for all married women? ;)

My ex-wife liked me so much she tried to stab me with a knife when I was sleeping, fortunately I woke up by my 6 months old son, who was sleeping in crib at the foot end of my bed, was crying so I managed to see her in time to disarm her.

Is that true? What happened after that?
