using blurpsl's event and panadell's event i can get my character's stats up to 250 ( I don't go higher than 230, because anything over 250 makes it go back to 0) no save game editing needed. I just don't change any stats on the create a ruler DLC, change them in game and voila, big pimpin.

Yea, I noticed that, trying to figure out how to fix that as my current King is at 0

ohh...i didnt mean my main character, i can adjust them just fine(tried usiung someone elses id, like other events, but it killed them instead...) but the elite courtiers/generals you create, dont have the.... higher scores that they once did... it only seems to let them have a base score of 9 at the highest, it takes what numbers are inputed(like Panadell's 55, and drops anything after the first number... so Panadell no has Base:5 + the bonuses... you can change that to 9, 95, 999 to get base 9... i.e. to test it i gave Panadell martial = 105(sp? all i changed was the number in the event file) and Judokid a martial = 95... In game when i clicked elite troops, Panadell had Base:1 + trait bonuses, and Judokid had base:9+ bonuses....
i hope that is clearer...

by the way, what is blurpsl's event?

I went into the defines.lua, and tried to change these settings:

Well what happened when you did? Crash? Didn't change?

That would be the way to change it.
 
Heres a listing of all the pregnancy events I figured out from experimentation:
event 400 gets YOU pregnant; husband is the father
event 401 gets YOU pregnant; husband is NOT the father
event 402 gets YOU pregnant; unmarried
event 403 gets your wife pregnant; regular
event 404 gets your wife pregnant; YOU ARE NOT the father
event 24504 gets your wife pregnant; wife gains the stressed trait

so with the new patch, it appears that the event fires..but no kid pops out..?

Weird...I'll test it out tonight if I can.

For the moment, maybe try 1.0 rather than just 1. Defines.lua can be fickle.

I've made 2 events which I think are quite useful. The following is an adaptation of blurpsl's event who can now also pick 5 random courtiers between the ages 16 - 20 and gives them each a specialty (Chancellor, Marshal, Steward etc.), and i've also made a different modifier for the wife:

This one's based on one of Panadell's events, but now not only gives you a kindsman, you can also decide who the parents of the kindsman are by giving them certain titles. (Master of the Hunt, High Almoner, Keeper of Swans and Seneschel.) It'll also create a wife for him and marry them. :) I also added a husband option for those pesky matrilineal marriages.
