OOC: Dont worry Kodamann. Commies nuked the last game back to the stone age. Still, the world was left more advanced than it would have been if they had ruled it! :p

OOC: Gods, and reading it, I wonder why, given how the West backed them into such a corner. Really, what happened to subtlety? :p

Regarding Spain, the radical CNT existed in Catalonia since 1910, the moderate UGT has existed since 1888, and two are still working together, more or less (they historically broke when the CNT's radicalism became too much for the UGT to stomach during Primo de Rivera's rule). For political parties, there's the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party, which has been around since 1879. However, in this era before Marxist-Leninism, leftist movements in Spain still tend to be rather anarchic in scope, and also quite weak. Spain really isn't in turmoil yet, either, since the economic collapse of the late 20s and early 30s hasn't happened yet, so you're going to be really, really weak if you do decide to play it like that. Still, if you don't mind wearing the equivalent of a "Shoot Me" sign and doing more or less nothing for a decade or two (assuming economic collapse even occurs), that is a possibility.

OOC: How sad, guess i'll just wait and see what happens...i wish to play a communist or fascist spain
or even a democratic spain, but rite now it's in an odd transition period so i'll just wait.... :)

OOC : Just play Spain if you're willing to play a democratic one, if it is a absolute monarchy you can start doing democratic reforms...If it is a already-reformed Const Monarchy then you already would have a democratic country...

OOC: I have orders from Romania, Soviet Russia, The Spartacus League, the Kuomintang, Mexico, Bulgaria, Germany, Austria-Hungary, the Ottomans, and Russia. Get your orders in fast and I can write an update sometime tomorrow. Also could everyone please include your country in future orders?

OOC: Since complaints about a lack of map have appeared every so often, I slapped this together; you can click on it to see the full-size version. Don't expect me to keep it updated beyond when I have a bit of extra time, and it doesn't show army group locations, but it should give a brief overview of what's occupied and what's not at this point. All of the players, plus the NPCs Spain and Portugal, should be included. Oh, and feel free to let me know if anything's incorrect and glitched, so I can ignore it. :p

OOC: BTW, if my revolution fails, will I be able to switch to a real nation, as the Russians will surelly persecute my leaders?
And how much of an advantage would I have in battles since I have level 3 compared to Russia's level 2?

OOC: Tsk tsk, you haven't been readng Marx properly... the revolution is inevitable... :)

OOC: The revolution is, although they have nearly double my army.

OOC: Yes, but sometimes, there's a time to retreat and regroup. It's like the drawback before the tsunami. ^_^

As for the army, how much of that is mobilized? Also, research failure map tweak: Mongolia, Tanna Tuva, and Tibet are all de-facto independent at this point, and Tanna Tuva is already a Russian protectorate like Sikkim and Bahrain to Britain. Fix will be uploaded shortly.

OOC: For the map, you have too much of Belgium occupied by Germany (they never took the Channel port IIRC), A-H has taken that chunk of Italy you have almost cut off minus Venice.

OOC: OK, thanks on Belgium; I'll fix that. Regarding Italy, the Caporetto Offensive (October 1917) hasn't occurred yet. This is the map I used for the disposition of the front lines on that front.

OOC: Also, Belgium should own Kongo.

OOC: So why do Spain and Portugal?
