OOC: This is the correct flag:

Her Majesties Government expresses its concern as to the manner of communique originating from the government of Denmark. Perhaps said government would choose to elaborate occasionally, rather than doing as it is currentley and making generalised statements with little to no evidence to back up said statements.
A ship came into Aarhus, filled with danish people that immigrated to the USA after the swedes took Norway. They told the immigration office workers there about the war going on. We trust our own people, especially the ones who came back.

Either of the two previous US flags are fine. Also, each nation is limited to 4 orders. However, if you are at war, you may add an additional 2 "Wartime" orders as well. I will update the first post to reflect this.

OOC: There are no limits on your orders, but if you're going to try reforms, or something crazy, we recommend trying to build support for it at home first. We will bring your Stability level down if you do crazy stuff, and you will get a coup-revolution if you keep it up.
OOC: Was my speech enough to get my people's support for my industrialization?

Her Majesties Government expresses our distrust of the word of what can only be described as biased observors who would not have been able to view the full circumstances of events. Not only are they likely pro-Union, they are not Americans and therefore have no knowledge of the situation.

Furthermore, Her Majesties Government expresses that Danish ships travelling to the USA shall be stopped and searched by the Royal Navy. Should illegal cargoes be found, they will be seized for the protection of the sovereignity of the CSA.

OOC: You will surely be missed.

No, in order to gain popular support, you have to put it in your orders. IE: "Gain popular support for reform X." Now, this is really only if something is highly controversial, or just crazy. Industrialization, I don't seem much of a problem with.

And King, just wait a little bit. As soon as Fry is done with the stats, maybe he'll allow for one more.

Well we can now call the USA the "North" now and the CSA the "South". When I said "USA", I meant the prewar borders. The danish people who came back came from both the "North" and "South"

His Majesty is interested in why the United Kingdom would go to such extremes to protect a nation whose aims are as of yet unknown. Surly there is a place to grow cotton in that big empire of yours?

OOC: You will never get Norway back. I was planning to annex you when the Prussians attacked you. To bad someone else got Sweden before me :(

OOC: It's not like that cotton was originally grown in India and Southeast Asia. Naw!

In response to British interference with our trade, the USN shall respond in kind to British ships travelling to the Southern states. We maintain that it is only the South that has so far acted aggressively in it's assault of Fort Sumter

Her Majesties Government is not interested in Cotton. We are interested in protecting the Liberty and Rights of the citizens of the Confederacy. The British Empire has always stood against tyranny, since the days of Napoleon and before we have stood as a unshakeable redoubt against dictatorship.

*The reply is met by cries of 'HUZZAH!', 'God Save the Queen!' and several onlookers begin to sing 'Rule Brittania!'.

Furthermore, Her Majesties Government must make it clear that any interferrence with Imperial trade will be seen as an act of hostility against the Empire and shall be met with all due force.

OOC: Bad move USA.

We only wish to be independent of the Yankee tyrants, we never wished for war, but you asked for it!

OOC: You decided to trade with the enemy first.

By Imperial edict, all ships traveling to the CSA will be escorted by the Imperial Navy. As well, we will move to defend any British ships under fire from American vessels.

The USA reminds the Britain of its various colonies around the world and its own history. The South was fairly represented within our government. Unlike the Colonies
