His Majesty's Government warns that we shall not tolerate any action which is seen to further the horrific and savage cause of slavery. Furthermore, we would like to reinforce our message that while certain nations of the world cling to the archaic and barbaric policy of slavery, we shall do all in our righteous might to ensure the end of such a policy.

The Confederate States of America reminds the United Kingdom that the treaty in no way benefits th CSA and it's purpose is only to end this war.

OOC: Fry can I change the leader of the CSA by role playing elections since they haven't had one yet.

This is no matter. Both the Kingdom of Spain and the illegitimate rebel Government styling itself as the Confederacy are nations which allow the immoral and savage practice of slavery within lands under their control. So long as this practice continues, His Majesty's Government is honour bound, as civilised Gentlemen, to see the end of this uncivilised policy of slavery.

The Confederate States of America does not understand how you can consider our government illegitimate when the US accepts our independence. If you don't have anything to say about anything we do other then stating you disagree because of a completely different policy then we request that you refrain from commenting.

The French Empire echos the sentiments of the British Empire. Though we desire to see as much peace as possible we prefer it happen in a progressive manner for civilization. Though we, for obvious reasons, are not able to commit to any specific actions.

Peace is always progressive for civilization.

Treaty of Vladivostok
The Confederate States of America and the Russian Empire agree to uphold this treaty upon their honor as gentlemen.
1. The Confederate States of America and the Russian Empire will sign a trade agreement
2. The Russian Empire will send advisers to improve the Confederate Army
3. The Confederate States of America will invest in the construction of industry in the St Petersburg area

[X] Signed Robert E. Lee, President of the Confederate States of America
[] Tsar Alexander III of Russia

The CSA investing in industry. In another country.

Mind = blown

OOC: Fry just a thing shouldn't an army improve naturaly after a war. I mean an army that was just involved in a war will be more effective then an army that has been at peace for ages.

OOC: There are enough motives already for people to go to war :) (but yes, it sucks that most of the orders I sent to that end did not work)

It is clear that the Dixies wish to further the cause of their vile trade! We will not abide their support of European Imperialism. Direct interference in Cuba by the CSA will be seen as a declaration of war upon our nation.

If the Yankees want war then they'd better be ready. We are sending a small observation force to Cuba. It is there to try and keep the peace, It will join on the side of those who are attacked. If the Yankees see that as direct interference so be it.

The Kingdom of Spain allows entry of the CSA observation force into Spanish territory, and will defend it should it be attacked by the forces of the United States.

Furthermore, make no mistake as to the words of the US leadership, as they have violated a guarantee of the Confederate States of America, and thus forced the CSA to take measures to contain Yankee imperialism. They know too well what that imperialism can bring, as the citizens of the State of Georgia felt it first hand at the hands of Yankee forces.

If this so-called observation force fires upon American troops, they will be executed. If they merely observe, then they will be left to their observations.

We call out to US troops to stand down and engage in immediate peace conversations to avoid the further escalation of the conflict, considering how both our peoples are tired of war and the destruction it brings. If this truce is not accepted, then we will be forced defend our territorial integrity by all means at our disposal.

We echo the Spanish call but not for US troops. We urge the entire US government to begin peace conversations to end this conflict.

American troops are not tired of war. They are buoyant from recent success! The Spanish could have heeded our ultimatum and avoided all conflict. Instead they chose war. We are not to blame if the Spanish do not like our fair terms for peace.

If the United States could announce their fair terms then we would like to hear them.

OOC: Seriously? We've been discussing this already

OOC: I want you to post it to everyone
