I suggest European warships travel with ships destined for Argentina unless Brazil changes it's policy.

Leopold I, King of the Belgians

OOC: So, Canada just got released, and noone even comments?

Perhaps we would like to point out that we were attacked by the Argentinians and are doing nothing more than ensure that this war will come to an end swiftly, by shipping weapons to Argentina you are extending the duration of the war.

We also wonder why you are so insistent as to send supplies to Argentina but don't bother with the American blockade of the CSA, if you care so much about breaking blockades, that is.

Neither Belgium nor France recognizes the Confederates, blockading rebels is fine.

Leopold I, King of the Belgians

We congratulate the European Governments stance in relations to international navigations. We're also appalled by the Brazilian's warmongering and uncivilized stance on it, not only you murder foreign nationals on your soil and then refuses to administer them justice, you also wish to steal other people's property.

Once again we find ourselves in total agreement with the Belgian King. We are not interested in providing aid to rebels but when we started to consider where to expand trade with in South America and one nation speaks of blockades and another promises not to interfere with neutral shipping it begins to force our hand.

We celebrate the new attitude of the British towards their colonies.

Maybe it hasn't come to you that if you avoided taking Rushed conclusions and never declared war or issued an outrageous ultimatum, we would have conducted investigations and punished the responsibles, as the execution of the senator would never have been allowed by the government, making it a crime where the responsibles can't be punished because of your desire of war.

OOC : Of course Argentina is claiming that they would not mess with foreign ships or blockade something, their navy is much smaller and weaker than mine.

It is at least some small measure of good policy by their government. Though we still have many disagreements with their policy, at least in this one area they might perhaps achieve some good results.

With a Justice department that promotes police murder, and such warmongering attitude it was clear from the beggining that an investigation done by their bosses would result in nothing or just slander against us. A fair investigation could be done by us but you flatly refused, fearing the results of impartial justice.

As fair as the accusations of your press? That considered us the complete villains and placed themselves as little heros?
No, police murder, unlike in Argentina, isn't promoted in Brazil, in fact, death penalty usually is avoided by us, i can't say the same to your country.

Belgium also supports the new British policy in regards to its colonies and perhaps they could negotiate with the south Africans for them to become a dominion rather then be obliterated. We also encourage the British to support the solution to the problem with Brazil.

OOC: I'm on my IPod so I have to wright in IC in italics sorry

We will blockade exclusively the Argentinian coast, we won't fire on neutral ships, we will ask them to change their route if they go near Argentinian ports, but i will not give green light for the ships to fire.
However, if a third party sends weapons to the Argentinians, we will under no instance allow them to pass the blockade, we will confiscate the weapons. If the ships carrying weapons resist that and try to force their way, we might end up having no option but to fire.

We ask that trade with Argentina is avoided, we can't risk allowing weapons to get to our enemies.

The Kingdom of Spain will not allow Brazil to sever our economic ties with Argentina. We will be deploying most of our Armada to Cuba, to provide escort to both Spanish civilian ships inbound for Argentina, and Argentinian civilian ships inbound for Spain.

OOC: Sorry, but if Doom's backing the Brazilians... :)

See Spain, you should just take back your rebellious colonies. They are cooking up far too much trouble in South America.

Keep in mind that even if an agreement might be reached as to third party ships reaching Argentina, any ships flying an Argentinian flag will be shot whiout warnings, and we would investigate any ships moving through the region to make sure that they aren't Argentinian ships flying foreign flags.

OOC : So Argentina blocks my investigations with outrageous demands, invades me, and Belgium and France say i'm the one causing the problem, go wonder.

I'm starting to get tired of trying to be nice with somenoe that doesn't cares about it...

So, after all this i might just destroy Argentina instead of being nice and giving them a reasonable peace deal.

The Kingdom of Belgium thanks Spain for there support in this plan and hopes that other European nations will follow the our lead.
