I like it. I have seen Japan vs Fengtien Mano a Mano in my latest game (not really impinging upon my interests for the time being however so little reportage of it!)
We gained our first victory against the puny Fengtien troops in October 8th in the Battle of Jiamusi. Our orders were clear, infantry will engage the enemy while cavalry commandos shall move to seize the capital. We had to act fast or Fengtien traitors would surely plead peace from Japan.
In Hawaii the native monarchy was re-established.
In October 23rd we heard news that the French had once again failed and Paris was in German hands.
Month later Italy unified the peninsula under one nations. Hurrah!
In the end of 1937 Germany is in control of all northern France and it is only matter of time before the French surrender. German landing forces have managed to create a beach head in Norway and have begun to liberate it from the Sundicalist hands. The civil war in Spain still goes on. It looks like the Syndicalist are beating the Kings forces and Carlist troops just try to hold their ground.
Indonesians wanted to become independent, the Dutch said no.
In February 14th 1938, Commune of France accepted the unconditional surrender that German Empire demanded. All forces in both Italy and France were disbanded, Commune leadership was either arrested or they managed to flee to Spain and Britain. Germans had once again defeated the French in a war.
Few weeks later Duchies of Bretagne and Normandy were established. George of Hannover was established as King Francois III of France.
Germans were advancing in Norway where the Syndicalist troops had been driven all the way to the north.
In USA the civil war was nearing it's end. American Union State Army had taken control of the majority of USA. Jack Reed had pulled back to Chicago which was now under a siege by the AUS forces. MacArthur hold his ground in New York.
End of American Civil War. Tuareg Rebellion in Africa! It's chaos in Siberia!
Jack Reed and his defender managed to hold Chicago until May 21st 1938 when the Union armies managed to breach their line of defences all around Chicago. The 2nd American Civil War had come to an end.
In National French held Africa the Tuaregs decided to rebel. But the French instead of waving a white flag decided to fight back.
The Tuareg tribes formed an unified front against the French known as Tuareg Confederation.
When Japan heard about troubles in Siberia they decided to delay their plans on Siberia. Maybe they had something else in mind?
But our dear leader Kolchak knew what he wanted and decided to lay an claim to all lands to the Lake Baikal. Laika Boss.
When Japan heard about the new claims of Transamur they decided to ask for something in return of helping Kolchak to get these lands. Kolchak was forced to agree to this as the Transamur army couldn't defeat the Russians alone. Of course when the time of releasing these bases would come the agreement could be revised.
It seemed that Denkin had also heard about Kolchak's plan and he was not in the mood seeing his Siberia taken from him. So he decided to launch an preemptive war against Transamur. But he was a fool as Japan had all ready sent troops to reinforce the New Transamur border.
Three days from the official declaration of war Russia had all ready lost their first battle.
In Africa France subjugated the Tuareg rebels once again.
Fearing the invasion of Transamur and not being fans of acting as the theater of war for Denkin's foolish plans. The Siberians demanded independence. Denkin of course decided to suppress this rebellion with force. But the Siberians had all ready established their own army from the Russian troops in Siberia and seized all of Siberia to their new Siberian Federation. Many Russian soldiers decided to either defect to Siberia or lay down arms and flee back to west of Urals where the forces of Denkin still remained in power.
Denkin lets Soviets go! Kolchak moves against Siberian Federation! Landing in Normandy!
In the West the Soviet Bloc decided to secede from Denkin's Russia. This though happened peacefully as Denkin feared a two front war as his armies were in huge disarray from the sudden Siberian war.
Kolchak used the opportunity provided by the Siberian rebels to start an all out attack on the now unprotected border. His aim was all of Siberia and his commanders wouldn't stop before they were either dead or Siberia was under Transamur's boot.
After the fall of France Union of Britain had been left mostly alone to fight the German Empire. The Union Army used the time well while protecting their island from a German invasion. They prepared for an landing in Normandy which was a success. But for how long would it last? Most of continental Europe was under German control.
FAI proved victorious in the Spanish Civil War. Maybe they could provide Union of Britain their much needed assistance.
man i would love if there were more russias, not that i want them beaten, the mozaic on the map, knowing all those lands are occupied by diffrent slavs, slavic alaska would also be cool
But soon Denkin realized that he had made a huge mistake when he let the Soviets go peacefully. In September 9th 1938 at around 4 PM the Soviet troops launched mortar attacks against the Russian troops stationed near the border of Soviet held Russia and Denkin held Russia, after few hours of bombardment the Soviet troops crossed the border and the 2nd Russian Civil War had begun.
Fearing that the Soviets would eventually cross to Finland the Finns decided to send aid to Denkin in order for him to defeat the Soviets once again.
Both Siberia and Transamur-Japan launched attacks against each others constantly.
Union of Britain launched an offensive in Norway after the successful invasion of Normandy. Once again Norway was back in the hands of the Syndicalists.
Denkin tried everything to win the support of the people. So he decided to invite the living heirs of Romanov dynasty back to Russia to make the nation an Empire again.
In February 1939 the Empire's troop were able to push trough in the west while the Siberian armies were fighting against the Transamurians.Siberia was forced to surrender but Kolchak used the opportunity to issue fast attacks to seize lands from the Empire and continued westwards.
The Russian armies were defeated in Krasnoyarsk in 28th of February.
March 12th the Russians were forced to retreat in Kemerov.
Our earlier reports about the ending of the 2nd American Civil War might have been false as it seemed that USA had managed to hold out in Washington until April 1939. Well now the fight has ended and the American lands are divided between the American Union and Pacific State.
America wants back their land! Bolsheviks in trouble!
The Americans wanted Puerto Rico back but the Caribbean Federation refused to give it. Americans decided to think another means of getting it. But there was no war because we think that the AUS had no navy.
But they sure had an Army. American armies marched to seize the Pacific States back to the Union.
Together with the Japanese forces we were able to defeat the Russian armies in Siberia and slowly but surely we were getting close to the Ural Mountains.
For the Bolsheviks the war was not going so well. They had taken serious beating in the hands of the Empire and our sources claim that it is only matter of time before they are defeated. Thus Kolchak gave an order to march on until we reach the Baltic Coast and Denkin is stripped from power.
Well they better get used to the fact that Kolchak is coming with the Japs to liberate the Russian people from the Tyrant Denkin and his Romanov dogs!
End of Bolshevism! Cossack State Returns to the Empire!
Transamur continued it's advance together with the Japanese forces towards west but the news from the other side of Urals were not good.
Denkin's forces had managed to rout out the remaining Bolshevik forces. Those who had survived and not captured had fled to the country to Georgia or other Bolshevik friendly states.
The fear of Denkin and the Tzar drove the Cossack armies to dissolve and lands were returned to the Empire.
The Mongols were wise enough to stay away from the Russo-Japanese War.
