That one made for a nice informative read, but all these interviews are just making me sad... I NEEDS TO PLAY THE GAME ALREADY!

Seriously, War of the Roses is probably the best looking game you’ll ever see, and that’s including contenders like The Witcher 2, and Battlefield 3 cranked up to ‘high’. It comes back to Paradox’s desire to go ‘big’ – Roses is going to be their biggest title, with the biggest budget, and all the support they can throw behind it and it shows. Everything looks so well done, we actually worry what the PC requirements are going to be, or how well the game will scale."

Look up "Hamilton's Great Adventure", the min specs won't be too far off from that. It's the first game released on Bitsquid.

WotR will of course need more HDD space and maybe a bit, not much, more juice than this.

Ah that's good news, thanks for the info. Some of the guys I know with computers like mine will be pleased when I pass this on to them.

I think I'll still get the upgrade next month though. A game like this needs to be played on max settings while retaining a high FPS.

I agree, especially for the multiplayer. PVP without at least locking 60 fps? As an avid pvp junkie of old, any less and I'd take offence

Wow, the videos from Gametrailers look great. This is what I was waiting for, a real big step forward from Mount & Blade saga, with huge improvements

Good previews! Thanks for putting them all in one place, it's appreciated.
I like what I see/hear/read.
It's clever that you've added different damage types depending on how you swing certain weapons (the poleaxe was stated as an example). I'm eager to see all that in action!

In the last video (GameReactor), it's stated that bows deal piercing damage.
Will the game feature ranged weapons dealing another type of damage, such as broadhead (or barbed) arrows?

Or throwing axes

I don't expect it though, so I won't be disappointed.

2 questions, when is the war of the roses in GDC event ? date and time.

Good question. I should think, (and I personally hope,) that the answer is yes. Just have to wait and see though I guess.
