    Favorite What-If Scenarios

Bought V2 awhile ago and finally had the time to really start getting into it. One of my favorite aspects of these games is the ability to explore alternative historical possibilities at key junctures. I'm just about finished with my first game playing as Greece/Byzantine Empire which has been both infuriating and extremely enjoyable at points. It looks like either the fascists or the communists are going to make a play for power soon so it should have an exciting conclusion. What are all of your favorite what-if scenarios? I'm thinking of maybe trying for an early 1848 unification of Germany for my second game or perhaps balkanize the US into a bunch of competing regional powers and play as one of them.

There are 3 quite difficult campaigns.

Military unification of India by Panjab, Yugoslavia by Serbia or hardest, Poland by Krakow.

Panjab should be the most enjoyable one, even if you don't manage to unite the country within the time limit, fighting UK and their allies will not let you get bored.

I went the other way. I played as a pacifist, culture powerhouse California, 100% literacy, or close to it and within the top 3 nations in the world though industry and prestiege.

One of my favorites is to war intervene for your own gain. Gain some prime real estate as a south American/middle American nation by hacking off florida from the CSA. Thats my favorite, causes all kinds of strife. I also love demanding states be freed as war goals

Release Canada from the US and see what you can make of it. One province and no primary culture POPs until you conquer somewhere.
