Oh yeah that game. Well I can't really think of a lot of nations to pick to be honest, I don't really want France and I don't want anything too small. As I said I can take something that Kommando feels that we need or any of those choices I posted.

And a word of advice :
Never pick the Palatinate.
And Brunei is pretty cool nation and doesn't afraid of anything.
Looking at the map is a very usefull skill toi have.

In fact I do as I try to encourage players to actually post a list of preferences as requested. This Anders_de_K guy has done so and stated Hansa as his first preference. Since you state Hansa as your sole choice, I can either turn you down or allocate Anders one of his lesser priorities just because he did in fact post 5 nations as required. So in short: It would be great to have you but please post a list like everybody else. And stick to the lesser nations, too, since the biggos are pretty much taken.

Well, imo you should still put up 5 nations if possible, even though I doubt anyone else is going for Genoa. But with Milan & Venice there might be already 2 Italian Nations. And 3 TL Nations (if Venice is being played), that might be a first

Does anyone object to me taking Manchu with a game start edit to put me at 0 centralization from +3 centralization? I mean, I still get outclassed by Europeans that want to go hog-wild rush for Asia, but it doesn't leave me gimped for 1/2 the game (I still have to take like 19 stab hits, so if you say no you're a major fuckwit, just sayin'.

Yeah ok with Byzantium but will i get the edits? I need A LOT of ships to kill the Ottoman navy, and i don't like to rely on others to survive.
