I haven't checked actually, but since I regained the stability lost when DoW'ing the Golden Horde and got some colonizing done, my economy has started to take off.

Yes, with Sibir (and then with Nogai, and then with Golden Horde, then the truce with Sibir runs out, etc, etc...)

1. Keeping my land tech on par with my western neighbour's (been very lucky with getting random lvl 5-6 land tech advisors).
2. Getting into position to westernize.
3. Getting a mission that gives a core on Smolensk or Chernigov, so that I can form Russia. I've been completing missions in a frenzy, but no luck so far (Well, I've got other nice missions...)
4. Money. Colonizing and converting doesn't come for free.

After the first aggressive "gobbling up neighbouring minors" phase and vassalizing 10-province Novgorod (Subjugation CB <3), I had to sit quiet for a while, waiting for the right moment to have a go at Golden Horde. Now it's more or less uninterrupted warmongering.
