    Excellent! Keep the new versions coming!

    BTW, in the last game I played with a scenario made from this, Sibir had all of Ireland. I was unable to land any troops on it. It was quickly overrun by pretender rebels (probably a fault of my mod) which did not change the inability to land troops on it. Is that a problem with any country in Ireland, hordes/nomads in Ireland, or a problem with hordes/nomads that was just never noticed before?

    Thanks! Yes, unowned cores ought to be removed, that is quite clear. Optionally grouping could be fun, I'll add it to the list.

    That's a problem with hordes on islands I think. I suggest disabling hordes altogether to prevent situations like that.

    Possible issue: Revolutionary France turning back into monarchical France crashes the game

    This may be a vanilla issue related to the events, cores, ownerships, etc. being anything other than what the game expects. Perhaps a "no France" checkbox might help in the meantime.

    EDIT: It may also be a consequence of both Frances existing at the same time, and then one suddenly trying to become the other.

    Also, that's strange, I don't recall having any problems with government types at all.

    Are you saying that you are working on custom maps, I would like that because it would auto make the borders a bit nicer and more provinces ofc.

    It's on the list, to read province/nation data from the actual game or mod folder instead of using precached/separated data. But generating province masks takes quite long so that would be a problem.

    Mmmmm, I have a idea, how about you make every nation western?
    It should balance it more then some nations western etc.
    Because now the tech groups make no sense at all.
    Also, doing that will also fix the Indian nations not seeing Europe even if they are in it.
    And maybe make them all either Admin republic,Despothic monarchy,Feudal(aka all starters governments)?

    EDIT: If you are gonna make a mod folder for this, remove Colonial Conqeust(making one is easy and you can change the tech groups and the governments.).

    PS: Remove factions from Ming!

    Lot of potential in this mod!
    I would love it to become like the HOI3 random mod!

    I think I have a potential solution for the cores issue(I kind of skimmed so sorry if this has already been fixed).

    Make an event for the start of the game that removes the cores of all nations and then adds the cores to the provinces they have, but only have it fire once.

    This would of course require a mod file rather than just inserting a save, but it's the cleanest solution I can think of for a mod as fluid as this one.

    I imagine it would be quite laggy as well for the first day or so in game but eh.

    I'd like to request you host this somewhere that ISN'T going to require me to make yet more accounts please.

    especially as the last time i tried to create an account for something Google based it failed and spazzed out on me due to my not being in the USA.

    (currently your download link is taking me to a login/signup page for google docs, not your thing.)

    Version 0.4 is now released. See the first post for the download link.

    Changes:
    - Fixed issues with zooming and re-centering
    - Now using names for provinces and countries from the localisation files, instead of from the script files
    - Added option to make everyone Western tech
    - Ming's factions are now always disabled
    - Improved map discovery. A country's original lands are now unexplored, while the randomized territory and immediately adjacent provinces do now start explored.
    - Changed army placement. Existing armies and navies (in no longer own land) removed, so everyone starts defenseless.

    To do:
    - If HRE is set to disabled, also remove elector status, not just membership and current emperor
    - Do something with dead country cores
    - Do something about COTs
    - Possibly include some events and decisions for a SVAR mod.
