I would like to announce the creation of the Partido Socialista de los trabajadores(Workers' Socialist Party), the new far-left Marxist party with the emphasis on sponsoring other revolutions around the world, and establishing a classless society. I believe that a government under you would devolve into an authoritarian government, no different from the Nationalist government. Alas, I must face consequences.

Hello people of Chile. I stand today facing trial, after what have been considered the bloodiest days of our nation. I pledge innocence, for I have only done what I thought was right. I never acted out of greed or ambition, and I stood down of my position when I said I would and I also vouched for peaceful reintegration with the Free State and gradual liberalization of our political system.
Although the socialists and communists will ask for my head, I believe I have played my part in history. I saved the country from the communist menace and I avoided direct conflict with what I always believed were the legitimate governors of Chile, President de Conti and his cabinet. Though sceptical of his abilities to lead the nation after his exodus, I always treated him as a legitimate head of state and as the heir to the nation. Many were pushing me not to recognize his effords or his state, but I did so believing that it was the best for democracy. What am I guilty of? I am guilty of pulling back together the nation in a time of troubles, when communists and anarchists occupied our capital and they were attempting to destroy our freedoms and rights: Freedom of trade, freedom of worship, the right of owning property, freedom of expression (during my government we had free press) and the right to recieve compensation for one's work. Yes, even socialists must kneel down to the utopian social welfare system we live in and it's all my creation! People of all stratas have the right to access an excellent free healthcare system, have maximum 8 work hours with high quality safety measures, they recieve pensions and unemployment subsides. They recieve all the benefits the republic could not accomplish because of bureaucratic obstruction.
I was never a fascist like my successors Saez and Fuentes. I always stood up for a conservative, god fearing nation that looks after it's own people with protectionism and restrictions to the capitalist class who openly boast about their belongings (like Caitan Crazzio of the United CAPITALIST Party..) and their oppresiveness. My government gave the nation what it needed and nobody can dare compare me to Roseno, as I vouched for the working classes as much as the middle and upper classes. I fought and worked for a united Chile, where people set aside their class diferences and their struggles to unite under a common ideal: the nation. I've created industries and jobs for the chilean people as well. I am not an evil man.
It seems ridiculous now, but me and Fuentes were going to expand the franchise to everyone in his next term. Ironically, it was our delay that brought us our doom.

-Higher Education and Medial care is to be made completelly free for all who want/need it.

I have accomplished much of Renin's goals in my lifetime. I have fought for the proletariat and the nation, and I have created a perfect system for the workers of Chile. Why should I be punished? All that was done, I did with regret. My supporters were fascists, but I was a conservative. My friends were de Conti and Augusuto Santa Rosa, and they were centrists.
