I support both the Constitution and the National Government. The rebels are separated into menial, untrained groups. We can easily defeat them, as they have no support from any military command structure, nor anyone with real power. As a matter of principle, and as my first intention in the office of Minister of National Security, I demand a full-scale invasion of the separatist Free State upon the conclusion of this rebellion. They have shown their true colors, even with the benevolence that we, the true Government, have shown by allowing them to exist. Thus, they must be accordingly treated for their actions.
Additionally, I implore the Caudillo to make no concessions regarding public policy. Though some may call for it within our own Government, we cannot be weak. Violence against the legitimate Government is no way to garner change; only righteous revolutions, like our own Nationalist coup, should be tolerated. If anything, we must tighten the restrictions on socialists by banning their meetings and by raising taxes on the lower classes to create a more fair flat tax. Now is no time to show weakness or sympathy to the rebel cause; this phase, like all others that shall come after it, shall pass into the sunset as our skilled Generals dispatch the rebel scum.

1) All members of the Junta shall be taken dead or alive, preferably alive, so they can face trial for their crimes.
2) A temporary leader shall be assigned to be the face of the Resistance and help coordinate the groups. He shall preferably be a civilian member.
3) Nothing has changed since day one of the Resistance. Immediate elections will be called when Liberation is achieved.
4) The Free State will no longer be recognized as a legitimate government
5) An immediate return to the laws and Constitution of the Third Republic will be called, then the Congreso will make the reforms necessary.
6) The title of the President shall in time be weakened, to discourage new coups.

With the military strength of the nationalist government, it seems likely that we will prevail. I urge the members of the political organization formally known as the UPC (you were right, Fernandez; There shall be a new name soon in order to attract a broader base) formally supports the government. I also support the new constitution and I hope that it will bring our nation peace and tranquility. The Frente Nationale did a good job consolidating power, expanding our holdings, and building infrastructure but at some point we must think about the reintroduction of other political parties... But I wouldn't go as far as to say that radicals such as socialists and reactionaries should be allowed to participate. I also want to take this opportunity to create a conscript army that will help protect my personal interests in the larger cities. The factory workers employed by Chilean Standard Steel will hereby be conscripted into the Regimento de Oro and will protect their workplaces with their lives. Any who refuse will be immediately fired and jailed for their Jacobin sympathies. I hope this will help us stamp out resistance faster and show the many merits of a capitalist-run government.

I will not abandon my duties to Chile, and I will stand against this rebellion. However, I find it sad that so many will have to die. Nothing will be achieved by this bloodshed. The National Republic will be no more stronger, and those advocating democracy will be no more closer to it.

Speaking for the liberal wing of the resistance I am delighted that the FNT and communists continue their resistance to the corrupt regime we have here. I would caution though putting the FNT into the head of the resistance. While history has shown that the FNT are steadfast defenders of the republic and there is no questioning their loyalty, I would say that history has also shown that they lack the fight when things get tough and are afraqid to make the tough decisions. The main thing now is to defeat the facists, we can then worry about the restoration of democracy and the set up of a new governmnet then.
I would also urge any Generals that have not declared yet for the regime, this is your chance to break free from the shackles of oppression and show your mettle. Long life the resistance.

You can't even field HALF of the total number of revolutionaries with full mobilization. You have no chance.
