This rebellion will only result in the unnecessary deaths of thousands. As per my duties, I stand with the National Republic, however were it possible I would wish for both sides to come to a conclusion without bloodshed.

THIS IS IT! My brother's, our struggle has finally come to fruition, I have made contact with our fellow resistance groups and our numbers are over 3 MILLION! 4 times larger than the Army of Chile! They cannot hope to win, for now all lovers of liberty, be they conservatives or socialists, communists or germanists, have come together and said ENOUGH! They spit in the face of the tyrant and dare him to stop them! Now we must decide, who will be the man to inherit power when the revolution comes to a close, I beleive comrade Bevan would be the perfect canidate as he is the man who can unite the resistance around a single banner. I would gladly serve under him in some military position, run for office later. However such talks can wait for now, let us claim our VICTORY!

It has always been the policy of the Chilean Navy to protect the people of Chile (indeed, even with great loss against the repercussions of actions taken by the Continental Administration, without any compensation to pay for the wages of the sailors and marines who fought at the front of the wars with France and America). Now, Chileans - who stand only for their rapidly diminishing freedoms in determining for themselves a fair and balanced governance - are under attack. We must use all resources available to us to support the revolution. Would but both sides be able to come to a fair and peaceable agreement without such bloodshed.
I know where some of you in power in the continent stand, and some of you I know are good men with a heart for democracy. To the rest, I ask - will you stand with us, or wait for the communists to rise - fueled by the anger of the restrictive reforms, filling their ranks with Chileans who are simply angry at their inability to bring peaceful change and reform to Chile - and destroy Chile? Even if by force the battered armies of the nationalist government may suppress the red uprising, what then? Waiting until a Caudillo comes to solidify power even more, disenfranchising you and your peers and restricting your rights even more?

I do not understand the shouts of communists, isn't communism in itself highly restrictive of freedoms? Alas, our nation is the most free nation in the world! Death to all that oppose our government!

We cannot afford to be divided now! This parenthesis must end, division will come after we have taken care of the fascists. By adding together our numbers now, we stand to quickly destroy the dictatorship. We can leave the rest for later on. If we were to turn on each other before we have even defeated the primary enemy, then our soldiery would be divided in a massive triangle of confusion, unprepared for the fascist rhombus of terror.

Maybe if our numbers were lesser I would agree, but look at us! 3 Million Men, more than enough to topple the Caudillo. Our first priority should be making sure a stable government comes out of this not another Despotism. Not if we can appease the traitors.

If the revolution cannot stand by its principles it may as well be no better than the Caudillo, also you seem to be in a queer sort's. I am beginning to question your sanity.
No, now is not the time for us to fight amongst ourselves. All any any who resist this regime are welcome. I have been in contact with these jacobins as their beliefs resonate with my liberal views. Now we will drive out these facists and return to a true democracy.

It seems I am outnumbered on this, fine we can tolerate the Free-Staters....I don't have to like them though.
As I have warned the government, the people are rising to restore the Republic. I will continue leading my jacobin Republicano militia against the Regime and if necessary against the Communists. I am glad the my friends in the Free State will join the jacobin cause and support the rebellion. We must continue fighting to ensure a democracy emerges as the Communist rebels are as much a threat as the regime to a free Chile.
