I still agitate for the destruction of this dictatorship!

Furthermore, I call all anarchists, liberals, anti-authoritarians, the works, to come together with me and form a coherent faction. After much debating with colleagues and supporters, I have decided that the name shall be Democratic Anarchists. While this faction shall retain the ultimate anarchist goal of disbanding the state, at its core it is an anti-authoritarian party. I urge all defenders of democracy to come to join the Democratic Anarchists and bring down the current dictatorship!

I vote yes on the liberation bill. I also run for Caudillo as it seems no one else rather than me and Saez want to fight our enemies. I am using the same platform and policies, but heavily centered in warefare. I want our army to match these rebels in numbers and exceed them in technology. Also, I want to invest in electricity and automobiles.

And so I have, Senor Montenegro. Thank you for pointing out my grammatical mistake.

- Gen. Sebastian Hidalgo

Senor Fernandez, if you worry about my commitment to glorifying Chile, allow me to alleviate your concerns; I will do everything in my power to make Chile the greatest power, not only in this hemisphere, but in the world. My only issue with the present government is that it has taken to much control over the affairs of the people, and my main focusses will thus be on expanding Chile and having a more liberal social policy, as well as returning some liberties to the people. I believe the darkest days are behind us, and that now a loosening of restrictions is needed to get Chile on track, as well as bring some more moderate people to our side.

Liberation of Cuba: No

We cannot liberate Cuba without first re-capturing the Canal Zone. Attempting to do so will mean certain failure.

I would also like to announce my intentions to run for El Caudillo, although I do not expect to win a second time, nor do I believe my being El Caudillo is entirely necessary. Under the new National Republic, there is no way Chile can possible fail.

If I am chosen to be El Caudillo, my policies will be the same as they are now, those being State Capitalism/Protectionism/Jingoism/Secularism/Residency. I will also make an effort to expand our navy and re-capture the Canal Zone from the Americans, as well as to recruit more soldiers to balance out our military and to keep the Germanist threat at bay.

Is there anyone in the Frente Nacional who is not running? If so, please declare your bid for the office of Caudillo now! It's an open field!

---Caitan Crazzio---

The Resistance is everywhere. The Resistance see all and hear all. There is no hiding. We're coming for you.

General Jesus Gonzales

I would like to take into serious question your sanity, Senor Gonzales.

Hmm, good to know that you are already running for your lives. I do officially declare that I will take that into account. You can run across the open field all you want, but it won't help you, it will just make it easier for us to mow you down. Have a nice day, Sir.

Well, it would seem that seeing as candidates cannot vote for themselves, and that preliminarily I only see myself and Montenegro not entering the Caudillo race, it would seem that my vote as Minister of Foreign Affairs holds particular weight. In essence, seeing as I have two votes as a Minister, whoever I vote for wins. Even if there are more holdouts, my votes will be weighted extremely heavily. So amuse me.

Alejandro Ruiz de Escovedo,
Minister of Foreign Affairs

I agitate and continue to fight the despotic government of the Caudillo in any way I can.

I hereby change my vote on the Liberation of Cuba from a No to a Veto, as per my power as El Caudillo. We must first re-capture the Canal Zone. Only then would it be practical to consider Cuba.

Thank you El Presidente, your veto will allow us to begin building up our army for the inevitable rebellion.

I would like to point out that these rebels are still our people. They are our factory workers, our farmers, our academics, and our citizens in general. We in the Frente Nacional have done so much for Chile: we have expanded, industrialized, grown national pride, and increased stability to levels unheard of in the 3rd Republic. Truly our reign has been a glorious one, yet let us not forget the liberales. True, Chile needs a strong centralized... I would even say authoritarian... government, but let us at least give some voice to the moderates who currently agitate against our government.

There are three types of rebels in this nation mi amigos but today I shall talk of the Communistas...

1. El Rojos Nuevos- The communists and socialists are bloodthirsty and immoral savages that seek to overturn our government, plunge Chile into turmoil, and install themselves as authoritarian dictators. These rebels are organized and, honestly, no laughing matter. They are led by insane men whose rhetoric feeds off the debunked texts of the infamous Armando Renin, Karl Marx, and that rebellious Finn (It began with an H...?). Their preposterous rhetoric falls on the willing ears of factory workers. They will destroy everything Chile holds dear if they take power by coup. We must stop at nothing to utterly destroy them!

I never said they weren't people. But we can't allow ourselves to be pushed around by men who have no gods or rules. They are led by anarchists like Mantiago, or radical communists. They might be Chileans, but they pledge their alliegance not to our great nation, but to the nation-less communists.

And yes, we have imposed restrictions. We have enacted curfews and cracked down on terrorist cells. But let's not forget these men are terrorists. They were armed insurgents even before this government came to be. It's true we don't listen to their cries! But it's with a good reason: They do not seek a consensus, instead they only want to seize power. It became evident with Rios' and Haakalenin's attempt at seizeing the capital. They do not want to get heard, they actually avoided us when we were hearing their cries, but instead they want to silence everyone else. We had a tough choice, and I took the initative: we had to quiet down their voices before they silenced everyone else. We banned the FNT and the communistas, so that the communistas didn't ban everyone else (even the FNT, who supported them). We arrived just in time, we retook the capital when the president had fled the country and all hope had been lost. So I don't want to hear them. They are just selfish plotters who only want to replace us.

Like I said, we banned the communists. But I didn't ban the republicanos and the patriotas. While many of the new fascists and the new politicians of the openly fascist Frente Nacional want to ban the patriotas and the republicanos, or politely "merge" them into non-existance, I instead vouch for a multi-party system. I will hopefully restore democracy one day when the storm is calm and Chile is safe, and for that to be even possible we need to keep our parties in existance, even if under Saez they were only ceremonial parties and the executive council took all the necesary measures. Even if it seems paradoxical that the founder of the fascist republic and the fascist party is not a fascist, it is true. I am a reactionary and I have always been. I was an archbishop, a patriota and a supporter of Crown Prince Roseno though I was hesistant to show my colours at the time (because as a leader I could not take sides in that conflict, it would have divided the party).

We have, for the first time in many years, stability and unity. And while we are united, we do not all think the same. We are not all fascists! There are also many liberals, conservatives and reactionaries in the high level ministerial offices and the high party seats. Let us not generalize things.

To end my speech, I would like to remind you señor Caitan, I will always vouch for the people. I will make sure Chile returns to democracy one day! And you will be there to see it, in it's full glory.

Chile para los Chilenos! Not for the nationless communists.

*Completely ignoring the "speech" by the so-called Minister of Foreign Affairs*

I shall not be running in this race, meaning that as a General, I carry extreme weight within this comming elections, holding two votes. I am now lending my support, name, votes, and army to Caudillo Saez for another term. He is the only candidate worth voting for, and the only candidate truley for the Military and not for his own personal gain. I also vote No to the Cuba Invasion, even if the Caudillo had not vetoed it, as we lack the ability to take it, especially with the loss of the Canal Zone.

I support the Democratic Anarchist's, rest assured people of the world the revolution is coming and when it happens the Caudillo and his cronies will have no where to run.

My speech, as you call it, was merely a comical passing fancy, Ferarri. What is more concerning is that you said exactly the same thing as me, but with an aura of serious meaning. You must stop inciting those within your own party; it is not wise to pick internal fights when rebels are among the populace. And to specify: you should recognize and differentiate a speech containing my actual beliefs and ideas from meaningless diatribe such as my " vote weight" comment.
