This country is plagued by unpatriotic leftist's and greedy men who only wish to stuff their own pocket's. We need a man who is willing to be firm with the communist terrorist's a man who can lead Chile into a brave new age. Which is why I am running for the Patriotics ticket for president of Chile
Leeroy, you're still disenfranchised for your role in the last coup and will continue to be disenfranchised until the end of this election. You can't even vote, much less run for President.

Correct. You cannot agitate while disenfranchised.

    PEDRO RIVERA'S ADDRESS

I wish to once again thank the people of Chile for giving me the opportunity to serve them as President. We have been through a tumultuous five years but our Republic has survived and is prospering as never before. Unfortunately their are Chileans who are struggling. Chief among them are our military veterans and the children and widows of those who gave their lives for Chile. I hope the next government is able to institute help for our veterans and their families.

As I am an old man nearing 70 years, I must step aside and allow the younger generation to become leaders. I will be retiring from politics after my term to spend the last of my days with my family.

    President Pedro Rivera

I hereby present this new act, to stop the purges in the military.

    The Right to Serve Act
    :
    1. Any man who's a Chilean citizen and is physically and mentally fit to serve in the Chilean military have the right to do so.
    2. It's not allowed to expel a soldier from the military due to his religious or political views or his ethnicity.
    3. A soldier can only be expelled from the military if he has committed a crime, if he has committed treason or insubordination, or if he in any other way has become physically or mentally unfit to serve.
    4. A soldier cannot be expelled from the armed forces on the charge of a crime, insubordination or treason without proof or witnesses that the soldier in question is guilty to the allegations he has been accused of.

Hmm, as I feel now is the time, I present my own bill.

The Chief of Staff Empowerment Bill

    1. For any permanent reallocation of soldiers, the President must have the approval of the CoS.

This bill aims to increase the power of the CoS and prevent predicaments such as those which led to this violent altercation by forcing the President to consult the CoS for troop reallocations. Currently, the President is only required to consult the CoS at the start of his term, which vastly undermines the power of the CoS.

Curiñancu entered the tavern. It was a quant little place in a village among the south central mountains. Few came to these parts and it showed as only 3 people and the man behind the bar resided in the tavern. The one he was looking for waved him over. He was a tall man, with a hood covering his head. The shadows from the candle on the table cast thick shadows across his face. People in regions this remote hardly knew what electricity was and the fact that no electrical lights were to be found was unsurprising to Curiñancu. Curiñancu sat down across from him and indicated to the man behind the bar, and then they waited until the man had given him his drink and left before they started talking.
“You made it, I didn’t think you would”, said the man across from him.
“I’m sorry”, said Curiñancu, “I’m not as young as I used to be I can’t be climbing up mountains like this”. The man grunted then pushed something across the table. Taking it up Curiñancu put it in his pocket. He already knew what was on the piece of paper. It was a list of Mapuchian contacts in Argentina.
“I’m surprised you were able to pass it”, continued the man, “the Equality Act I mean”
“Yes well put a shiny name on it and any politician will vote for it”, said Curiñancu, “the best part is that nobody seemed to read that last part”. The first part of the plan had gone flawlessly, and no right minded politician could hope to repeal the rights of the aboriginals now that they had been granted. To do so would be to invite political misfortune. “Just a little longer my friend, be sure to have your men ready”. The man grunted in affirmation and Curiñancu left the tavern, satisfied in how smooth the exchange had gone. He breathed in the fresh mountain air then reviewed the list of names. “Yes, just a little longer”, he said to himself, then walked into the dark night

...Scene from the unofficial funeral of Comrade Armando Juan Renin, as written by The Red Star....

"...Carried by thousands of marchers, with portraits of his head held high, Armando Renin's coffin was carried down the busy streets of Central Patagonia for a near eight hours...As the sun began to set, and the marchers reached the shore, they placed the coffin in the water, draped in a solid red flag. As he drifted off into the sea, screams of "Renin!", "Long Live The Chilean Commune!", and "Viva La Marxism!" could be heard...and then one voice could be heard humming a tune... And then another...and another..and thousands of marchers echoed in chorus...."

"...Arise, ye workers from your slumber....Arise, ye prisoners of want....For reasons in revolt now thunders..."

    Comrade Armando Juan Renin, 1856-1895
Chilean Communist Party Politburo Member, Chief of The Revolutionary Democratic Front, and Revolutionary.

Then perhaps the Mapuche tribe should be more carefully monitored.

I am agitating for Pension Reform, not any political party. Our soldiers have often suffered, and they and their families deserve compensation.

You do realize Schmidt that to agitate is to declare war against the government and thus commit treason do you not?

I would encourage any and all to support the Republicanos. In the time of Presidente Rivera's able leadership, Chilean industry and economy have exploded. Rivera, however, has stepped down and refused to run for re-election.

Thus, I and I alone have stepped up to fill the void left by the departure of this great man! We of the political right must align behind a candidate early, and strongly. Thus, I would ask you, noble Chilean Congreso, to support me in my bid for the nomination.

With the disenfranchisement of the Comunistas, now is the time to solidify our rule.

    Viva Chile!

Senor, from what I have heard from you, you would seem to fit in more with the patriotas. Perhaps you should investigate more before choosing your party.

I feel i must remind you that only those communists who participated in the rebelion are disenfranchised

National Defense Authorization Act: Yes. Militias are a safe way to defend our republic from socialism.
    Military Industrial Complex: Yes

I want to lead the "Republican Guard", a nationalist militia that will make sure the provinces of Chile aren't attacked by Reninist rebels. Who wants to participate?

Be that as it may, Mapuche, the Comunistas are powerless. Ponder the manpower that you now lack, and reflect upon, too, the vote that you do not have.

Any man who supports the Comunistas over the popular sentiment of the Chilean populace is no citizen to me.
