"The organization, the unity, of the working man cannot be broken. This seems to be the goal of the coup. For politicians to be able to propel themselves to power, with the aid of their own wealth, without the support of others. This coup seeks to destroy parties, it seems. In reality, it will destroy the ability the common man has to represent himself, in an already flawed system. This coup seems to be an attempt to destroy unity among the workers, while furthering the goal of the wealthy bourgeois, through the use of their strongest weapon. Money."

-Comrade Armando Renin

(Making up stuff to fuel political rhetoric)

((What else is a bourgeois dictatorship. I'm stating that this system will make the politician with the most money electable, as a result of completely independent campaigning, as opposed to gaining the support of political allies, supporters, and other members.))

(Wow, I never actually thought of it that way. Though realistically, any party to garnish the theoretical proportionate support our candidates get on the people of Chile, already need money to campaign)

((But removing parties removes the ability of the non-wealthy to build a campaign as it makes it essentially illegal to pool political resources.))

((Exactly. While it takes money to bribe individuals, fuel political ads, and continue your campaign, only the individuals with the largest amount of wealth would be able to effectively campaign. As well, the common people would essentially be removed from giving support to any said candidate, and pooling political resources would be illegal, as blindgoose said.))

((My computer attempts to die once more, and you guys have a coup.))

President: Gogołów (previously undecided)

I assure you all that as Chief of Staff, I was not Andonie's puppet; we both voted against the other in 2 elections, and we had long discussions in which we were both required to concede points in order to have our armies led by men of experienced military service.

General Martin Schmidt, Chief of Staff

(Though in the system we would implement, there are still checks. A private individual would not want to do something which might cause revolution, thus the demands of the people are still met)

((Cesar's Zombie Empire vs Socialists & Communists vs Republicanos & Liberales vs Nacional New World Order.

Sounds awesome.))

((+Araya))

The working class of Chile must unite now and take a stand against oppression once and for all! The red guard took up arms when the dastardly Araya tried to sieze power, why should we not muster our formidable forces yet again? Now that Chile is so close to electing either comrade Renin or Senor Gogolow, two fine leftist politicians who would lead Chile into a golden age of the common man (although it is my firm belief that a more radical approach is necessary in order to fully achieve this state of equality and peace in our lifetime), we as politicians, freedom fighters, and Chileans must unite against Andonie's misguided and disgusting power-grab. While it may be hard for some of us on the far left to forget the wrongs that Gogolow has done our alliance (truly a Gogolow on his part), it is the only way that the left as a whole can unite and prosper in the wake of such terrible turmoil in our nation.

((Or, the illusions that the demands of the people are met. Essentially, you've got a system where the wealthiest individuals have utter control to influence the population based solely on wealth. The political system is then free for the elected individual to use to his or her own advantage, whether it be power wise or based on ones own wealth. Thus, if said leader/leaders meet the basic demands of the population, they will be satisfied, and forget about the blatant creation and use of a political system used to further the leaders own personal gain and wealth before that of the average citizen.))

(Alright, you have a point, and we are probably getting too close to not talking about it in the context of the AAR. So, Ill stop here).

Also, I am placing my vote for Chief of Staff to Alvarez.

How funny, I too just decided who I'm voting for,

I cast my vote for Juarez for Chief of Staff. Hopefully the positions of the Presidency and the Chief of Staff will both be occupied by Communistas (or at least the FNT)

I support the Bourgeoise Dictatorship!

((King5000, do you want my archbishop character? A clergy character seems like a new concept and a very interesting one))
