((Aw. I actually kind of liked Guerrero's free-market socialism thing. That actually sounded kind of cool, and a little bit refreshing from the usual generic "worker's state blah blah blah". Oh well.))

"Comrade Guerrero, as a supporter of Renin I am glad to have you backing his candidacy. I believe you have brought up some very important and interesting theoretical issues which should be hashed out by the party and discussed in full with the workers. You are truly a testament to the intellect and theoretical heft of our organization and to our commitment to the emancipation of the working-class."

It is good to see the Communists are closer to deciding who amongst them will lose in the next election.

Presidente Andonie

No, you are. You are shamelessely attempting to bribe people to vote for you. I am disgusted, and so is everyone else. If you think anyone's going to let you an inch away from power ever again, engange the thing at the top of your head.))
What are you talking about? I am not even running for presidente......
I was only trying to preserve unity between the socialistas but the FNT has clearly shown that they can't have that.

Presidente Andonie

"It is good to see that the bourgeoisie is as haughty in it's power as ever, even as our party remains the largest by far. Do not lose sight of reality, old man, the judgement of the working-class shall come to reign and you shall be judged wanting."

((Agreed. The old "worker blah blah" sounds pretty rubbish by now.))

I feel that is time for moderation, so I will vote accordingly:

Party: Liberales
Candidate: Lorenzo Subercasseaux
Coalition: Republicanos, Patriotas (if they're still a viable party)
Coalition Candidate: Subercasseaux, Rivera (I doubt he'll make it, but I wouldn't be opposed to him, especially if he was free-market)

((here we go again, does no one remeber how coalitions in primaries work. At the moment we are prob heading for a coalition with the FNT with Gogolow as leader.....))

Edit - ((Riccardo, there is no nationales party, patriots, but their leader is dead so i guess he is not running... :) ))

((As I said, if Tamizuzki had been sensible and not taken us for granted last time around, we might be willing to go for coalition with you. As it is, Gogolow (probably) is going to lead a centrist Liberale-FNT coalition. And i am talking about this:

A Call to the FNT: Turn back while you still can
This is just as I feared, I understand why you turned to the liberales but allying them will crush the cause of the worker's. They wish to deregulate business's giving corporations more power over there worker's. We must stop them NOW. I will switch to the FNT to bolster there numbers if I win I will try to give one of you a generalship, just think about what you are doing!

Honsestly, if my character was a minister, and the presidente appointed you to a general or minister, my character would resign. Bribery's one thing, doing it in broad daylight.))

((What's so bad about that? He's pretty moderate. Would probably be the best candidate to head such a coalition, but I guess I'm a bit biased. :)))

My fellow Liberales, as Elder statesman and leader of the party I feel it is my duty to warn of the insidious takeover of our party by the Socialists. It is fine to discuss common grounds with them(just the other day I discovered Senor Gogolow lhad a penchant for fly fishing, as do I, or the late Senor Carnal who used to drink brandy with me over a good cigar) but we are in danger of losing the ability to shape events and the ideals of our party. Senor Gogolow is a fine man with good ideas (although he let a giant trout go the other day, shocking) that Is why i appointed him to my Cabinet. But the Liberals should be led by the Liberales. Change your vote now or lose your independence.

Presidente Andonie

The Liberale machine has been in control for almost 44 years straight with minor breaks in between. To assert that you would lose your independence to the broken-spined FNT is nothing but propaganda to keep your machine running. If you were not destroyed by a coalition with Republicanos, if you were not destroyed by a coalition with Nacionales, what on earth makes you think a coalition with the FNT will destroy you?

What is this machine that you talk about Senor? I dreamt last night of a giant man made of metal nbut when i woke up it was just a suit of armour in my room.

((Hello, I am back. Anyone care to tell me what I've missed so far? ))

((Andonie is the most unpopular Presidente in history and appears content with continuously antagonizing people.))

((i am not antagonizing people...... and I am only unpopular with the people that lost :) ))
