Also, if we are to defeat this evil coup, which I am sure we will, here are my appointments, with a large bit of modification due to the death of our two Comrades, Kalambur and Kvaratskhelia and of course the betrayel of Villa.

Vice President: David Bevan (Advisory and aiding position to President)
Minister of the Interior: Agustin Serrano
Minister of the Treasury: Pablo Garcia
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Juan Rivera
Minister of Defence: Manuel Rommeni

Army of Patagonia - Julio Varde (OConnor)
1st Army of the Republic - Agustin Serrano (Gloa)
2nd Army of the Republic – Agustin Serrano (Gloa)
3rd Army of the Republic – Juan Rivera (atomicsoda)
Metropolitan Army - Ernesto F. Fuentes (Maxwell500)
Army of La Plata (formerly Argentina) - Julio Varde (OConnor)
Army of the Canal Zone – Carlos Andonie (rudders10)
4th Army of the Republic- Juan Rivera (atomicsoda)
5th Army of the Republic - Manuel Rommeni (Shynka)
6th Army of the Republic - Manuel Rommeni (Shynka)
Chilean Navy – Daniel Palomino (MastahCheef117)
Army of the Caribbean - Ernst Thaumen (Seek75)
Capital Guard

And as you can see, many Civil and Military positions are filled by Socialists, Liberals and Moderate Republicano members. So I am not going for an all out Communista government pakced with Party members. I have also decided to defer the appointment of General of the Metropolitan Army to myself as I personally lead them before 22 years ago. Last, originally Villa was supposed to be VP and serve as Commander of the First and Second Armies. Kvaratskhelia was to be Minister of the Interior and lead the Metropolitan and La Plata armies. Kalambur was to be Minister of Defence and lead the Navy.

~ Ernesto F. Fuentes
In light.....in light of the recent reveal of the Fuentes cabinet, and if he is willing to meet with me and talk about the issue of a dictatorship in a rational discussion, I will surrender my armies and turn myself in. This is to prevent further bloodshed and harm to the republic with the hope that democracy and be preserved.

"As Senor Villa has surrendered without any bloodshed and his only intent was to preserve the Republic, I plan to pardon him once in office."

~ Ernesto F. Fuentes, President Elect

I'm willing to negotiate, I would like to maintain control of one my armies, at least for this first term after that I shall retire, and a pledge by all members of your administration of loyalty to the republic. Then I shall lay down my arms.

"I shall allow you to lead the First Army. I also think a pledge is a good idea."

~ Ernesto F. Fuentes, President Elect

Alright then I shall surrender my armies and turn myself over to the custody of the Fuentes administration, this coup is over

"Senor Tottenheim has deferred to me the responsibility of forming a fascist paramilitary group; this responsibility I have temporarily declined, since I would never take by war what cannot be held by peace. On the topic of this abortive coup, I see that it was stopped only through bribery. Such actions are not a confident augury of the future."

You couldn't be further from the truth, I left this coup worse off then I came into it, if it had succeeded I would have left ruling up to an executive council and retired, I only stay a general now to deter any coups from the radical right or left. It is my one and only goal.

I am glad you share my views and decide to do this peacefully as well. Now the question is: what will happen to those leaderless blackshirts marching in the streets??

"Senor Montenegro, you deeply sadden me, we were good friends the other day, now you accuse me of being a fraudulent evil Dictator?!?!? I told Senor Villa that I did not have any intention of instituting a Dictatorship in Chile as the people do not deserve oppression, I also told him that another Civil War will be bloody and cost more Chilean lives....there was no bribery whatsoever. Last, I take the formation of a paramilitary group as quite a threat to my administration and to the freedom of the people and I do not think it should be permitted."

I have placed Francisco Villa in command of the 1st Army, which he has led since his appointment in 1916, and as he values the Republic and its preservation. I also consulted Senor Andonie about his appointmnt to the Army of the Canal Zone, he respectively declined, so I shall be putting Senor Serrano in command of that. This is the final edit to my cabinet, this is the full and finished draft.

~ Ernesto F. Fuentes, President Elect

"I never said you were fraudulent, Fuentes. Furthermore, there is no such thing as a finished draft; drafts are inherently unfinished, and once it is finished, it is no longer a draft."

Dr. Sebastian Montenegro

I would be referring to you señor. You declared a coup and should be tried by the courts, not left in charge of an army. I am sure the speaker will comment on this. I also refer to the president who promised a mix in his cabinet and generals.

Is it really such a wise idea to allow a man who almost attempted to overthrow the government control of an army? Surely this will set a precedent for future false-coups to gain cabinet posts or military positions.

An article written by retired Defense Minister Jesus Gonzales:

People of Chile, hard times are again on the horizon. We had an election where Fascists and Communists were able to gather more votes than the democratic parties. We now have a government lead by the Communists. My advice is not to fear, this government is elected, and we have to give it a chance. This is not the time to panic and arm yourselves. But as with every government we, the people should watch them and hold them accountable for their actions. If a Communist or a Fascist government is trying to take away our freedoms we fought for to restore, the people of Chile indeed has not only the right, but the responsibility to rise up against it. Our freedoms are something we have had to restore through force several times in our history, and God forbid, another Tyranny rise up, we must take rise up again. However, every elected government deserves a chance to prove they are not tyrants or oppressors. This government is no different. While we should not stay idle if they break our trust, we should always give them a chance to prove themselves. I have retired from politics, but I believe the spirit of Chile is in it's people. That's what I always have believed. I have seen this people fight hard for years against a tyrannic regime, and believe if another one was to arise, the people will fight back again. Freedom always win in the end.

"It seems I am yet again placed as Commander of the Chilean Navy. I thank President Fuentes on the appointment.

It seems I shall have to grow my sea legs, as this may be a position I will be holding for a long time."
