First of all, CORE is utterly awesome. Great work guys!

One thing, though, doesn't really add up:
You have invested so much effort into technological progression and making it balanced while reflecting reality decently (some links between gun tech and tanks/AA is missing), but why is land doctrine so generic? Especially given the basis of AoD, which nicely refects the real and different land doctrines of the major power blocks during WW2.

Why didn't you copy AoD's land doctrines?

IMO the CORE system works out fine. While you have the freedom to research any branch you like, your tech team´s level and specialities will push you into a certain direction. This will in effect come up with almost the same results as vanilla´s land doctrines, but you are not limited to historical results if you are willing to invest more research time.

The results (as Blecky says) tend to work out fine - it is just perhaps not as visually appealing or quite so obvious which route to take, but the actual functionality is OK.
